Just because this video spotlights on women's problems in society does not mean that it denies the problems men have in society. Why do people think that by bringing up women's issues we are automatically silencing men's issues? Can these issues exist on separate platforms without being used to silence each other?
Because that is how it has worked till now. It is only an issue if it happens to a woman. That is at the expense of men and children. Spending on government service is a reflection of this. Mental health and crisis services are completely female focused.
I’ve read the horrible and crude comments from people who don’t truly know what this is about and would just like to say that these women making speeches are using their platform to talk about a serious matter. And what Halsey said her poem is true without a platform it’s hard to make an impact, these women are doing what they can, using their platform, to make a change. Some of them may or may not have been sexually assaulted but they still go out their and speak for women’s rights and human rights. There were speeches being made not just about women’s rights but also about equal rights for everyone despite your race, gender, or sexual orientation. These marches aren’t just for women’s right but for human rights as well.

This is really emotional for me as i am 14 now but i was first catcalled at the age of 4 Its one of my first memories..it still haunts me to date I've been catcalled several times so far(12 to be specific) Every girl i know has been a victim of harassment Groped once too but the society and country i live in people always blame me and asked me to stay shut I hope one day no one will ever have to go through any kind of harrasment

11 years ago I was raped my dad I was just 7 I didnt understand what was happening until is was to late I lived with this pain in my heart and it didnt go away now I am 18 and I'm afraid of men any I walk down street with my head hanging low 2 years this boy at my school tried to do that to me I ran. I was so scared I told the police all they did was laugh in my face now I see every man the same. A predator to the face i went to therapy thinking it would help but they just made it worse so i found a new coping method that was to cut my wrist I was broken ALL BECAUSE OF A MAN suicide was my only way out until I realized last second if I had something else to help I realized only I can be better.

Speak up. We need more awareness for sexual assault among men. It is a problem that gets overlooked or just gets used to silence women survivors. It's all just wrong. This is really emotional for me as i am 14 now but i was first catcalled at the age of 4
Its one of my first memories..it still haunts me to date
I've been catcalled several times so far(12 to be specific)
Every girl i know has been a victim of harassment
Groped once too but the society and country i live in people always blame me and asked me to stay shut
I hope one day no one will ever have to go through any kind of harrasment

11 years ago I was raped my dad I was just 7 I didnt understand what was happening until is was to late I lived with this pain in my heart and it didnt go away now I am 18 and I'm afraid of men any I walk down street with my head hanging low 2 years this boy at my school tried to do that to me I ran. I was so scared I told the police all they did was laugh in my face now I see every man the same. A predator to the face i went to therapy thinking it would help but they just made it worse so i found a new coping method that was to cut my wrist I was broken ALL BECAUSE OF A MAN suicide was my only way out until I realized last second if I had something else to help I realized only I can be better.
