Hailing from the beautiful Helderberg area in Cape Town, now residing in Pretoria, Janie Bay started her career with an indie release, "I Remember" securing a No. 1 hit on local mainstream and student radio stations. Janie Bay sees the release of her sophomore album, ‘Miscellany’, amidst much excitement and expectation at the end of 2017. At the beginning of last month, she releases the official video to the 4th single from her SAMA nominated sophomore album, Miscellany. ‘Can’t Be the One’ - is a song about letting go of the one you love.
Janie Bay’s Miscellany was nominated for Best Adult Contemporary Album at the 24 SAMAs.
