Hi. I have a video card from HP (Nvidia FX3700M). I've measured the distance between PCIe diff pairs there and figured out that it's just 0.5x the video card's thickness. But you instead recommend 4x. Could you please explain why you recommend it?
he's referring to the distance between the trace and its reference plane (layer below or above), not total thickness of the card.
some points here contradict SLAAE45.pdf, like section 2.2 point 4 where it states trace width should be 5W not 4h
