Do you ever oversaturate your clay? I find when I’m throwing larger vessels (very new to this) I have to use so much more water. I get nervous about using too much
I tend not too these days, using very slippy water can help prevent this as it clings to the surface of the pot for longer but it takes some getting used to.
I would like to see more of how you shape the lid, I.e. how you create the vertical bit in the middle. Could you slow that bit down a bit or do a close up of where your fingers are?

Hi Florian, why does the inward tapering wall of the lid on your pots slope inwards slightly? Is it so they will fit better with less chance of warping in the firing?
not an actual answer, but my idea is that it’s simply a stylistic choice, but i think also so that there isn’t such a large gap between the body and lid itself

Do you ever get wrist pain? I find with larger amounts of clay I get wrist pain in my right hand from pulling, which persists after throwing sessions
