The fact that everyone was happy with everything in this event right up until this bundle came out should tell you something. They actually made some pretty serious mistakes with this bundle.
I just find it weird that fortnite decided they would ban certain accounts from wearing specific skins or backblings because it's too "mature" for the main demographic, but they happily add in skins like Billy, Michael, and Leatherface
Ash Williams pickaxe is way better and they should have added that swing animation to this one, I was mostly hyped for the pickaxe but after seeing it its just as disappointing as the skin

I'm a bit disapointed regarding this skin and his set. For example the mask isn't so creepy and at least they could have made the mask creepier even if they didn't made the mask out of skin. Then another disapointment is the chainsaw they could have made the chainsaw somehow double handed and bigger and at to it a real chainsaw swing animation, also they could have made the chainsaw to sound when you swing littlebit more revved like the engine to sound more revved. Then the emote is also a bit disapointing they could have made it travesal and the swings on the emote a bit faster like in the movie.
I was excited for the pickaxe but, they didn't give it the swinging animation from the Ash Williams chainsaw. I let out an audible, depressed sigh as soon as I saw it has the lame swing animation. I'm either saving my vbucks the FishStick x Deadpool, or just saving them for next season
So this skin is really cool and a horror classic character in a game where you never know who will be added..you don't like it because the swinging animatin is "lame"....I think people are right, You people in the Fortnite community complain way to much

They were constructive in what they would have liked and how it could have been better, especially in comparison to previous pickaxes we had. It's their opinion, and put very well together. Yes people in the Fortnite community complain a lot, but you can't go after people that have genuine criticism over a product that they were intending on buying. That creates a whole other problem that the complainers didn't present.

Very disappointed. The chainsaw swing animation is so….slow, and clunky. Also the skin is absolute 💩. Definitely will be saving my V bucks with this one.

It was from a chapter 5 season 1 female skin that had yellow clothing mostly and light blue hair and a glowing blue tattoo or piece of tech on her arm. The pickaxe had the same colors with a yellow handle and glowing blue chainsaw type blade. Regardless, it had almost the same exact swing sound as this chainsaw pickaxe with leatherface. Sorry, i know that not a lot of average players seem to care about pickaxe sounds as far as i know but i often appreciate it when epic makes the pickaxes sound really good.
I just learned that this scene is completely improvised. Normally, Leatherface should have been chasing the truck, but the actor wearing this outfit for 4 weeks and because he was constantly smelling and sweating, he finally got angry and danced, so this scene is not in the improvised script.

They ruined his skin in most of the movies his aprons always covered in blood he’s way too clean to even be in the game. Should have gone with a different killer if they were going to screw him up this bad. In trailers they showed him with a blood variant on his apron and now not a single blood stain really? I’ll stick with myers this skin is a major pass even if you could be a fan or not.

I would recommend the sausage links contrail for Leatherface. Its hilariously perfect for the character in an obviously dark way, first thing I thought of when the skin was leaked. I plan on using it with him once the skin releases.

Michael Myers is still the best looking fortnitemares collab.They nailed it. Was excited about this one until I actually saw it. Not bad but could be better. They nailed a the Nightmare before Christmas as well, just a bigger fan of Myers.
Some fixes I would make to the skin is to hide his eyes more by using the shadow from inside the mask, then instead of the peely backbling I would replace it with a pot of chili. But as it is I’m not really impressed with the bundle.

Missed opportunity to add a special running animation with the pickaxe and the swing animation should've been two handed with more chainsaw sounds, could've basically made it like the chainsaw item in the BR.
There’s are a few things they could’ve done here, for example his dance and his skin should have come with his alternate costumes but overall it isn’t that bad of a skin bundle, I do agree with others
I like the skin, mask feels a little bit off but it is what it is. Backbling is creative i like it, wish it was reactive to healing though. Chainsaw pickaxe was the thing i was hoping for most, i'm happy it exists. I was hoping the animation would be two handed but i think one handed will be okay. Wrap is decent. Emote is good but it could definitely be better, louder, more fluid. For 2,500 i think the myers bundle is far better at 1,800 and that set is pretty much perfect. Price might be the biggest pushaway for this bundle. Personally i will still be buying it, mainly for the chainsaw pickaxe. I think the negaitivty im seeing its a bit much, i understand it's downsides but i think it's pretty cool overall.
13:50 the brown is technically a canvas and peely’s skin is stapled across it, think of large piece of cloth maybe a towel, now how have giant rectangle with a open inside (this is not a 3d shape with multiple sides) now place the towel in the middle and have its edges stapled or nailed to the edges of the rectangle. Well I think the best part of the set is the backbling. And probably would've been better if the chainsaw came with the outfit and the emote and backbling would be sold separately.

I think this skin is underwhelming for some reason and it's a shame they couldn't give him the authentic mask but I totally get why they couldn't.
What a disaster… I was so happy with the skins they gave me for Halloween so far… until now… this is so underwhelming.
Using the chainsaw in game has you dancing faster than the emote...
There’s are a few things they could’ve done here, for example his dance and his skin should have come with his alternate costumes but overall it isn’t that bad of a skin bundle, I do agree with others
I like the skin, mask feels a little bit off but it is what it is. Backbling is creative i like it, wish it was reactive to healing though. Chainsaw pickaxe was the thing i was hoping for most, i'm happy it exists. I was hoping the animation would be two handed but i think one handed will be okay. Wrap is decent. Emote is good but it could definitely be better, louder, more fluid.
For 2,500 i think the myers bundle is far better at 1,800 and that set is pretty much perfect. Price might be the biggest pushaway for this bundle. Personally i will still be buying it, mainly for the chainsaw pickaxe. I think the negaitivty im seeing its a bit much, i understand it's downsides but i think it's pretty cool overall.
The brown stuff on the wrap is wood and the grey things are staples to keep peely semi-together

you could use bone themed cosmetics for the glider, wrap and backbling. maybe even feathers in reference to the chickens in the movie.

13:50 the brown is technically a canvas and peely’s skin is stapled across it, think of large piece of cloth maybe a towel, now how have giant rectangle with a open inside (this is not a 3d shape with multiple sides) now place the towel in the middle and have its edges stapled or nailed to the edges of the rectangle. You understand?

That emote lacks Intensity ngl, maybe an edit style were he is wearing peelys face or some from the movies, his back bling could have been the trophy from the chili contest reactivity could have been the chili falling off the trophy. Still Goin Buy It Tho!🙂

Kinda wish he had multiple styles cause in the main movie he had the outfit we have in fortnite a more grandma looking outfit and the dinner outfit which makes him resemble a woman it's a small thing but it would've just been cool to have
Edit: Would've also been cool upon elimination you would hear the infamous flash bulb from the movie small but would've been cool for all TCM fans

For the Glider and Contrail I’d suggest using the rusty glider from that one season that had water all over the map (hope you know what I’m referring to) and the visceral contrail from Marvel

Well I think the best part of the set is the backbling. And probably would've been better if the chainsaw came with the outfit and the emote and backbling would be sold separately.
Hi Tabor I think the Carnage glider and contrail might work for the combo cuz they look kinda fleshy enough

They could have did a better animation with the pickaxe that’s my only complaint other than that I’m picking up the bundle I love horror !
