Im 7 years in the future and its insane how all I have in my private card making playlist is ur videos only explaining EVERYTHING i need to know anout EVERYTHING! Like u make videos for everything and to me u are a PRO at everything! Ur videos could be 7 hrs long and it would still go by quickly because its intertaining to watch and u learn soooo much that anyone could take on the world with everything u taught us! I'll continue to learn from the best! 💗💟💜💋💋💋👏👏👏🌸💞🌼💞❤💝❤💓💛💞
Your videos are NEVER to long. You teach so well, and it's not the length of a video for crafters; it's the information and quality of a video. And Jennifer, you ARE one of the BEST ON TH-cam! You are a WINNER!
I second this comment! lol... Even though I once thanked you for your concise videos, I could watch longer ones bc you're still concise, and creative. Thanks so much again!!
+Jennifer McGuire when I'm looking for inspiration and when the person doing the tutorials does a good job, it doesn't even seem long. After I watch it though, if I ever want to go back for refreshing I just look at what I need and skip the rest. I've seen most of your videos several times so I usually know where to look when I want to try out a technique after I buy the product
Don't apologize for your videos being longer! I wish they were twice as long -- I learn so much from your casual remarks about how you do things. I think your videos are perfectly positioned to teach people who know a little but are still in that phase of "there is so much more to learn!" Thank you for your videos and your blog.
I was just playing around with inking embossing folders today but never thought to add a second color. Very cool. I was inking the top and it looks like I need to ink the bottom. Thanks so much. I enjoy all of your videos.
Your videos could NEVER be too long!! I would gladly sit through 3 hour video's if you made them lol As always thankyou for learnding us!! I trust your opinion's on craft products, you never steer us wrong!!
You give us so much information in your videos they are never too long. I'm always looking for another one to watch. Thank you for this technique. It's awesome.
thanks for sharing this technique with us . I used to use the embossing folder as a stamp but never thought to run through the machine. It really gives a fabulous result. thank you so much Jennifer.
I already love embossing folders, but I am in LOVE with the genius idea of 6x6 folders. It does get frustrating to have a design that will only work on one orientation, so this is a perfect solution!
Have some embossing folders and didn’t know how to use them well. The 6x6 size solves some of my issues. All that I have found are smaller and don’t fit what I want to do. Your videos are spot on in timing and clarity. Thanks
Jennifer thank you so much for such a great video. I learned a lot from this. I've been out of the paper crafting scrapbooking 4-5yrs. Getting back into it. Never used embossing folders, found you 2wks ago you are fantastic! Thanks for sharing all your great ideas!
Jennifer, your videos can never be too long for me!! Thank you so much for the inspiration, I'm off to dig our my (sadly neglected) embossing folders. X
This was great! Not too long at all ... a quarter hour well spend. Thanks for passing on the little tricks re the embellishments as well as the beautiful card ideas!
Oh my word, these cards are just super fabulous, love them all! You really are my muse, I've learned so much from you and can't thank you enough, Bless you.
Thank you for all these wonderful ideas. I just got the Cuttlebug for Christmas and I'm searching for ideas! These backgrounds turned out gorgeous! I'm definitely going to try these ideas! Thanks again!
Oh thank goodness for this video! Now I know what else to do with my 38 embossing folders! I was beginning to worry once I counted and realized I had way more folders than stamp sets. This will revolutionize my crafting as well as justify my excessive buying habits. Thanks so much Jen.
Thank you SO much! This is extremely helpful. I wasn't sure how to use my embossing folders and I bought a few for Christmas cards. Now I have several ideas and a better understanding of how to use them :D
Hi Jennifer. Thank you soooo much for this video. I have never seen it done this way before and just nipped off to try it and I am mega pleased with the results. Thank you xxx
Another great video!!! Thank you so much for showing us another great technique. I will be trying this. Just love how all you're cards turn out! Beautiful.
On the "tree" embossing folder, after you ink the background, you can ink other things such as trees, wildlife, etc. and then insert the card stock and emboss. It makes the items stamped on look like they are behind the trees.
Yeah, it's an old idea, I've been doing it for 15 years, and it wasn't my idea. The cool thing about stamping is that even though we've known about it forever, others haven't, obviously;) Now, in another 15 years, someone is going to say, "Oh, I learned that from Jennifer McGuire 15 years ago!" PS I use filters for my glitter, too.
It's nice that a number of people have commented on this video not being too long, but I for one prefer videos to be on the shorter side. I only have so much time to watch them, and my favorites ones are the ones that are shorter and to the point but still thoroughly explain a technique.
Hi Jenn! What a lovely group of cards! Thanks for sharing with us. I used one or two inks that I have a hard time removing from the ef, but I'll keep working on them :)
Great video! Thanks for the tutorial. I have been actually wondering how taking a stamp pad over the raised portions of embossed papers would work, but hadn't actually tried it yet. After seeing your video, I will definitely give it a try!
On another tutorial they recommended that you leave the paper in the folder when adding ink (or sanding) on the high points because the folder's ridges hold the paper up and keep the raised areas from crushing.
What beautiful cards thanks for all your wonderful ideas. It does give such an awesome look with the embossing and inking. Thanks for sharing your very clever and creative ideas. You really know how to make every just that much more fun!! Joan Smith
I LOVEEEEE these. The bright blue and green one with the script writing looked awesome!!! I actually have a bunch of these folders coming in soon. Can't wait. I LOVE the butterflies (of course) and the woodgrain. P.S. Don't apologize for your longer videos, I LOVE THEM! :)
I have done this before to color my letterpress folders and with versamark to use with colored embossing powders, but I haven't done two colors. Thanks for sharing. BTW, the video wasn't too long. :)
thank you for your reply. you are so very sweet and when you demonstrate, we fly over to the site to purchase it and it is gone! I understand what you mean though. I really did not realize the order of things. I will just keep checking with them to see if they have restocked! your videos are marvelous!!! keep up the fantastic work!!! Blessings!
i used to make everybody cards as a kid, but then life happened and now they all receive store bought cards......... maybe not anymore :D Your videos are AMAZING!!!!!

Any tips as to how to not get the ink all over the entire folder surface versus just the raised parts where you want it. Sometimes I can do it ok and other times it seems like it just gets in the low areas where I don't want it. Thanks so much. Love your videos.
I love this technique and learned all about it from you! I agree the the Hero Arts Shadow inks are perfect!! My fave actually and I own every color!! THANKS so much for sharing this great video...! Hope your birthday was awesome in every way! :)
The woodgrain is awesome! But, I tend to get everything in woodgrain that comes on the market. The trees are amazing too! I've been waiting for these folders!
