A video that is a couple years old but a real joy to watch and listen to the voice over. Super positive attitude of the riders. Great promotion of dual sport motorcycling. 73, Mike
I'm so glad you posted this in the way you did! At the end you said "imagine riding with the people who inspired you".... That was my EXACT feeling this entire trip.
I like this extended behind the scenes version. I really enjoy all the riding footage the best out of all aspects. And having all the extra footage is awesome. Your commentary is good too though. Thank you for keeping us gentle tubers entertained.
I know I'm a little late to the party on this one, but Mrs.Stacey and I just watched over dinner and we both agree that this is one of the best eveRide videos to come out in a while. Please note that I'm not dissing the polished style, but as I've said many times, this is the kind of content that we fell in love with to begin with, so it's extra special when we get some of it now. Hope you do many more like this man.
Awesome format. Love to see videos of what really happens. I am 60 and just spent 5 days in late June doing Moab with my 28 year old son. We both were on KLR 650 so I am not sure if we could have done that trail. Moab is such a great place to ride. Keep up the good work Tyler and glad to see you up on two wheels again. At the end of 5 days my clutch hand was spent. I could hardly button my pants. lol.
I really like full Monte version of the video as well as the audio play by play. looks like a ton of fun. I would like to see more like this. Thanks for the awesome videos you out out.
TYLER!!! I got Lasik surgery, and I can't tell you how much it has improved my riding experience! Just putting on a helmet is 10x easier than with classes/contacts. I can't believe the difference. I hope that one day I get to vacation/ride with you as you may be my original inspiration to ride. (not much off-road exp.) THANK YOU! for your vids -Reeves-
I love Kane Creek. We usually ride up and then over to the park at Hole in the Rock for lunch and top off the water bladders then hit something else to wrap up our day. I pack extra gloves so when we get to that nasty rock hill climb I can tackle it with some fresh dry gloves. Thanks for sharing. Moab Rocks.
Really enjoyed this video. I watched the whole thing to the end. I actually enjoy all of your videos. I like the variety. I have not seen a boring one yet.Thank you. 😊
I freaking love this. I love the cinematic too but this I love most. I'm a wannabe and watching this kind of video showing the whole experience is really what fuels the dream. Thank you so much. To "watch" all the people who inspire me in the same video is just the best.
Looks like an awesome trail, but I can imagine how fatiguing that was by the end of the day. That was pretty cool, to see all the guys riding together. Thanks
That's what I like about it, too. Doing both videos is actually really refreshing! Everybody gets what they like... unless what they like is something in the middle of 5 minutes and 45 minutes lol :)
I also think hearing more detail about the trails, the bikes and the individual rider backstories makes is all more "real". It looks like it was a great crew with a ride range of bikes and rider ability, yet everyone got along really well. And, while the scenery and riding are inspirational, I think your positive attitude is infectiousness too. Keep bringing the love Tyler. P.S. I ordered my Everide T-Shirt a few minutes ago.
Sitting here at 1:05am (2022) in Australia 🇦🇺 after waking and having a panic attack due to shortness of breath thanks to COVID. No need for meditation or mindfulness- just some Everide to soothe the soul.
this type of video is great, I learn a lot watching several guys ride the same obstacle. Some day I'll be on one of your rides! You are a friend I havn't met yet!
I ran Kane Creek in a 98 Grand Cherokee in 2003. Solo until we came upon an Cherokee near the end right before climbing up out of the canyon. Its a LONG trail in a Jeep. And to answer the question you almost asked, the appeal to Jeeps on technical trails... is just that. Technical. You buy/build a Jeep the same as you would a bike and mod it to run the terrain you prefer or live in. Then the challenge is the terrain. Not going through fast. Slow with as little wheel slip as possible. In most cases. Mud is another story.
Rode Moab on an old trials bike with other that had newer gagas and betas. One guy came with a two smoker CR250R. He had mad skills to not stall more often than he did.
I'm a rider and a jeeper so I get it. One of my biggest fears around here (windrock and/or North Cumberland trails) are head on collisions. You're right it is irritating when you get up on a group and they don't let you by.
Love this format of videos, easy to just play and have running in the background when I work. Also gives more learning opportunities during those technical spots. Seeing riders with different bikes/skill level tackle the same course was a cool perspective.
It was nice to watch the whole ride, well in and out while I was working. But it is nice to see the whole ride, it gives us a better perspective on what you're riding through, not just the final edits. That being said, after watching this and once you put up your final edit, I think we can all be appreciative of what it takes to get that small 5 minutes of well manicured and great production out of your videos. Seeing what you have done to put out that content makes me much more appreciative of what you do, it's not easy taking hours of footage and making that final cut, but you always do amazing work. Keep up the good work!
Great video Tyler.. Keep it up.. old I know but you are the reason a lot of us old dudes got back into dual sport.. and we spend $$ Just ordered a new Honda CRF 250 Rally.. Parts already arriving, and of course Battle Born Gear... SO don't kill your You Tube channel yet... you are an inspiration to many...
Always enjoy your polished vids, Tyler, but have to say that I totally enjoyed this, especially with the voice-over. Great to see you out riding the challenging stuff again, with a great group of guys! atb
Love the video, it gives a good over view of what the trail would be with out showing the whole thing, and seeing the experience and hearing everyone is very cool.
Great stuff! The narration gives great insight to the ride. I switched to a YZ450 from a WR450, and I would stall the YZ like your 450x. I added a heavier GYTR flywheel weight and that helped immensely!
I just got back from dirtbiking in Tahoe. I am so beat and can't concentrate on reading or even a movie. This is perfect to zone out to. Thanks. And when is the motoranch taking reservations? Gotta bring my WR out.
this feels like early everide days, just great footage with heart felt relaxed commentary. Maybe it's just a little less polish and alot more character, thanks again fella, take care!
Pretty cool and inspiring stuff to watch. A though on the CRF450, if they've got high duration on the cams, you'll make a lot of torque at high revs from the exhaust scavenging, but the intake/exhaust overlap makes you recycle exhaust at low revs and lose torque.
im a minute in but i love this idea, the full length version AND the punched-up preview type best-of-the-best-highlights version for the people who either have less time or want the surge of inspiration. the long version is good for if you wanna live vicariously. i gotta say i missed the vlogs too, you goin out just fkn around and laughing at yourself is humanizing. (not that you come off as uppity, like, not at all... but still)
Your polished videos are second to none, but for someone who may never get a chance to ride trails like this...the 49 minutes ticked away quickly. The short videos are like little teasers, but this is more like being there. I'll keep watching. I bet these will get lots of watches over winter!
This is very, very entertaining to watch and also a great learning experience, as I'm just starting to get my proverbial feet wet driving off-road. I'm very unfortunate not to have any terrain remotely like you have over there :-( because dirt and rocks are my favorite terrain. Thanks for putting this up :).
I did this trail a few years ago, it's funny to see that scrap metal there, when we when it was bolted to that first step down as a make shift ramp but I think because it was coming off it ended up making that step down a lot scarier and harder
I really love this new format, I'm a new rider and I'm learning a lot from this new long videos showing what to do on the different kinds of obstacles. Please keep this nice job
For this kind of ride, I like the raw-style footage the best. I love your well-crafted edits for topical videos but this is the meat and potatoes for me
It's definitely better you doing the voice over. Specially for trail riding it's fun to hear the story along with ride as well as mentioning the bike's and how they are as well as running. I enjoyed it and looking forward to more with the voice over.
jeez, I don't have enough time to watch the whole thing! but I love it. I like how it shows the riding conditions over the pond. never been there and I'm stoked by the huge RWs, the landscape and unfortunately - the amount of other riders on the track. when we do a ride it's a 100mile loop with some villages on the way and few joggers in the woods, nobody else. totally like the different scenery! keep on #braaping
You pretty much got it my meng! Curtis : Stock WR Will : Stock WR Brandon : Yellow Suzuki Kolby : KTM madness PS: I looove the format. I need to get my edits going, FAK!
I'm only half way through but I have to tell you I love this style Of video. So many perspectives and views makes it really entertaining to watch. Good work!
Awesome video. I wish I had that much area to ride. Limited to pockets in Eastern Washington. I would have a hard time editing down that footage....it was all fun to watch an I am sure twice as much fun to ride. You mentioned stalling on the one bike....its all in gearing. Gear the bigger bike a little closer to the 250's and that goes away. Stay up on two and have fun!
To stop the 450x from stalling there is a autodecomp spring on the cam that you can bend to loosen the pressure on the weight so it doesnt stall at low rpms. Also you could get a flywheel weight but the cam is free so i would do it first
About 10 years ago, my 70 year old father, myself, and a riding buddy did Kane Creek on KTM LC4 640's. Not the right bike for this trail. We were all very good technical riders but the massive bikes (by dirt bike standards) kicked our butts. We made it, but it was really tough.
Wow I love it, better then all recent movies I saw lately in the cinema! Watching it on a big screen makes me feel that I was actually there 😊 Excellent editing. Love your channel, man, it has a place in my life...
I’m way late to this video, but I felt compelled to let you know how much I liked it. I’ve been a subscriber for quite some time and for some reason missed these videos, well done!
nice one tyler, very cool to have the blow by blow commentary with the raw footage... and you get to include footage with the dirty lens lol. i HATE having to scrap footage from dirty lenses, although sometimes more contrast and a bit of sharpening can cover it... sigh.
everide!! did kane creek this past weekend! i missed the memo where there was alternate route... ended up doing hamburger hill! love the video, thanks for posting!
I liked this version, edit or non-edit , raw or whatever the heck you're going to call them. You can here the fun being had. It'd be even better if we could hear more of the other riders comments. minitstop and accidentalbroadcast had me chuckling.

eveRide ADV Hey Tyler thanks for being such an inspiration to all of us. I've just gone and bought my first bike in 11 years, this time it's a DR650. I rode it 600 miles to get it home but boy it was a cold one (it's the middle of winter here in New Zealand) Anyway I'll be wrenching on it for the next couple of months and then take it out properly once the weather warms up. Keep up the awesome vids man, much love from the land down under.
Woohoo!! Awesome ride! Way to go Tyler, that was an epic day and an epic video. The "raw" format is just fine. You've always made an interesting variety of videos and this fits in and suits. I do love the polished edits with hollywood style soundtrack, but I love this also. Thanks again Tyler, for hangin' it out there in order to make content like this full time. God bless you and your wonderful family.
Great Vid, AGAIN. Whisky Throttle! I think I did that a few times when I went from a XR250L to a CRF 450X, got a vid of it on my channel. Again, great effort and super ride. Keep it up.
Like Like Like, Worked all night on my 05 drz400s and Im about to put my 57yr old ass on this new bike and try to find some fun, I love your long vids, you guys rock, peace, Capt Greg.
I love this format, this is some awesome stuff. I actually prefer this than the final edit versions. keep on filming.
Hey, are you posting any of your videos from this?! I just subscribed to you so I hope you do!!!
I can! Although I'm not even remotely as qualified to edit video as you fellas.
william riggs that's the way I felt too. Way too much fun!
CurtisFromTexas exactly! Hope you're doing well!
I like this extended behind the scenes version. I really enjoy all the riding footage the best out of all aspects. And having all the extra footage is awesome. Your commentary is good too though. Thank you for keeping us gentle tubers entertained.

These trips look so fun, especially with the group you ride with. Watching you guys help Kirt at 26:00 and the Khalani's commentary made my day.
I like this format to go along with your polished videos. Your commentary is good and I appreciate seeing all the extra riding shots.
Ridden Kane Creek dozens of times and this is the best coverage I have ever seen.
Awesome format. Love to see videos of what really happens. I am 60 and just spent 5 days in late June doing Moab with my 28 year old son. I love this and the straight narration over any music. It feels real.
Moab Rocks.
This format is great! I like the trials and tribulations that go on during a ride like this.
Your finished videos are also awesome!
Myself, on a KLR650, and 4 friends rode this last week. 2 DR650's, a KLX300, and a Honda 250L.....had a great ride.
The dual sport community is the best motorcyle community period.
Love the longer video like this. I put it on the living room TV and watched it with the kid, it really showed what a day's ride was like.
Really like these uncut videos! Thanks Tyler.
Looks like an awesome trail, but I can imagine how fatiguing that was by the end of the day. That was pretty cool, to see all the guys riding together. Thanks
Love this format. The fully edited cinematic stuff is great for a quick shot of inspiration. This long format is more informational.

You are the entire reason I bought a kickstart 1991 DR350 last weekend.
I had that exact bike for about 3 years! Unstoppable machine!
Sitting here at 1:05am (2022) in Australia 🇦🇺 after waking and having a panic attack due to shortness of breath thanks to COVID. No need for meditation or mindfulness- just some Everide to soothe the soul.

I know this is four years old but this long form format is great!

Excellent editing. Love your channel, man, it has a place in my life...
It was really nice!! Thank you for the inside view Tyler! Nice ending! FrickinJim, the man, the legend! Can't wait AB to be back on action!
Really enjoyed the play by play commentary in this video. Keep up the good work!
Love it, real side of a long ride.
Fantastic video! I was bummed when it was over!
I’m way late to this video, but I felt compelled to let you know how much I liked it. I’ve been a subscriber for quite some time and for some reason missed these videos, well done!
I think it's a great format for your videos, it's a much more real life perspective!
What an awesome ride! The raw/edited voice over stuff is great man!
nice one tyler, very cool to have the blow by blow commentary with the raw footage... and you get to include footage with the dirty lens lol. i HATE having to scrap footage from dirty lenses, although sometimes more contrast and a bit of sharpening can cover it... sigh.
Can't wait to ride Moab. Nice video guys :)
All your vids are great. Us cheap nuts appreciate all that you do,and envey
I love all of the extra footage. I'll have to watch this a second time.
I sure enjoyed the longer form. Lots of good riding. On my videos I always hate cutting so much good video out to make it short.
everide!! did kane creek this past weekend! i missed the memo where there was alternate route... ended up doing hamburger hill! love the video, thanks for posting!
Great format.. love seeing the long format
Wow, amaaazing landscape there!
Awesome video! I’ve been to Moab for the Easter keep safari in vehicles. But man riding my bike would be awesome! Trip planning has begun
The 450 might be a good candidate for trying out a Rekluse.
super inspiring video man! I'm a new rider about to get my first bike. this gets me pumped
I liked this version, edit or non-edit , raw or whatever the heck you're going to call them. You can here the fun being had. It'd be even better if we could hear more of the other riders comments. minitstop and accidentalbroadcast had me chuckling.
My son and I came through this trail a couple months ago from the opposite direction. XR650R's. I agree, a smaller bike would have been better. We bypassed the single track portion where you passed the jeeps, because going down where they were was much easier than going up would have been. Great vid. as always.
I'm liking these longer raw footage! 👍🏻

That 450x needs some weight added to the Flywheel, that will help alot with the stalling.. Great vid though :)
eveRide ADV Hey Tyler thanks for being such an inspiration to all of us.
God bless you and your wonderful family.
this was excellent, I would say my fav production style.
Way to cool.. good group of riders.
Loved it
just the average trail rider. Bringing my wife to moab next year, wanna come ride with you guys. My kind of group
Great Vid, AGAIN.
Whisky Throttle! I think I did that a few times when I went from a XR250L to a CRF 450X, got a vid of it on my channel. Again, great effort and super ride. Keep it up.
I really like this video getting to see all goofing off I think it's a good idea to do them this way !
love the video format!!! it has an awesome players vibe to it!!! We need more of this!
Maaaaate.. I wish we had trails like this in Tasmania, Australia. That's like a dream riding spot! Although the heat would probably kill me dead.
Also don't know much about whats on the 450x already, but a big 'ole flywheel weight would help out a lot fending off those nasty stalls.
Loved this format It's nice to see a longer video to help me get my daily motorcycle fix!
Gotta say I prefer this style of video over the nice short ones.
Like Like Like, Worked all night on my 05 drz400s and Im about to put my 57yr old ass on this new bike and try to find some fun, I love your long vids, you guys rock, peace, Capt Greg.
YE OLE' WHISKEY GRIP! I like the new format.
