I remember this one from long ago when I went to Colorado for a ski trip.
I LOVE those sound effects it makes before it speaks the message!

This clip was taken before they they made new voice recordings. On inbound runs, they used to have Pete Smythe's voice.

This voice (the old one) is Reynelda Muse, who was also a news anchor in Denver at KCNC for many years.

@480silverton yes, this was the original voice used from 1995-2007. that's when they changed it to the current one, but many people prefer the old stuff

This must have been awhile ago because they changed the voice. I liked the old voice (that one one) more.

This video is awesome! Denver International Airport rocks, even though their baggage system never worked, and I never have sat in the back or the front, so I haven't gotten that same feeling that others have gotten from it! Awesome video!

When you've been flying for 14 hours, and are excited to be on holiday, this tram is a gift from god.

I used to ride that train when I was little when we were connecting in Denver. That is United's Hub. We would always connect there all the time. And sometimes we get lucky because sometimes we get to get on a huge Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet :o

@BFaust03131 Yes they still use the personal greeting. As well, the recordings currently feature the voices of former Coors Field announcer Alan Roach, and local KUSA-TV anchor Adele Arakawa. One is played in the First and Third Cars while the other is played in the Second and Forth Car.

The announcement on the Denver Airport trams is computerized. While the announcements stay generally the same, the music is interchanged from time to time and the voice of the announcer changes.

That's the best view- wish someone had a shot of that- especially underground with the lights from another train looking down at you.

Ahh i love DIA's tram system. Heck I love going to DIA, it's so cool (it's a shame they had to remove the fountain where the guest waiting area it).
BTW this must have been an early flight ... the tram is quiet, and there wasn't really anyone around

Neat video. Something only transit nerds like us could get a kick out of. Last time i've been on that tram was when they first opened that airport back in '95, the whole place was real impressive and was a great introduction to the Denver/Front-Range region (much nicer than Stapleton, IMHO). Wish the O'Hare ATS was that snazzy (why not have little blues tunes playing at each stop?! Do you hear me Daley?? :-)

I really like these airport terminal trains. Thanks for posting this. I'm posting my video of the Monorail at Newark Liberty. I think it's impressive that the thing has no driver--pretty simple computers by today's standards I guess, but still cool! I'll try and get a video up of the train at London's Gatwick soon.

@mspboi98 If you really wanted to show him to his gate, you could get a Gate Pass from the Check In Desks. All you need to do is show a Picture ID I believe.

If they let you get on the train as much as you like without having a ticket, I would stay on there all day and set up camp and everything. The chimes might make it sound a little brain tortureous!!! Im sort of a train freak!
