Cool sticks and it looks like HDPE material and if so will last forever. HDPE is damn near indestructible it's puckboard. Is that pole real carbon fiber or is it wrapped? Great videos sir.
They seem state of the ark, and very handy. BUT! I’m not investing that much money into something that has plastic components when I can get xop x2 sticks for a half pound more in weight and a quarter of the price and also strong metal through and through
Great to have options! I wont hunt off anything XOP, there track record for safety is abysmal and those X2 stick steps have been known to snap in half, no thanks!! I have a Vanish I might use for a preset but it will be ratchet strapped in.
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors would you share the link where you have got that information of “ snapping in half “. Because I find that hard to believe when being used just to climb a tree
Carbon is ridiculous expensive. I play hockey and a top of the line stick is about 400 dollars so this price makes sense but also market inflation for “Mobile Hunting” is insane they rob us hunters blind
I believe most of these companies' are adhering to the standard markup of 50-60% Im sure the components aren't cheap to have made, carbon tube. The guy obviously had to buy a mold for the stand offs/ Steps which some of those tools can cost 100,000$ So im sure there is a rhyme to the reason on these.
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors totally understand why they are pricing it where it is and I’m sure they did plenty of tests to make it cheaper for people but it probably was a strength to cost and safety factor that makes it more expensive

Got mine two weeks. Absolutely love them. First thing i did was chop the aiders off. Absolutely hate them. Im using the backwoods GC one versa aider and works perfect. I was shocked how well they bit the tree and love the foot room
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors it's the GC one aider that connects to the steps not the button. Exactly as you mentioned that little bit of height on the end of each step prevents it from sliding off. The way to go
Right, you said versa so I was thinking of the amsteel one that hangs off the versa button. The GC one works good. I like the regular double step one the best, I find it the most stable, however you cant really move it as u go.
Carbon fiber tube, hasn't been done before, built in aider and amsteel rope and under 1 lbs weight, hasn't been done before specially on an 18" step to step stick. I get what you are saying a stick is a stick but at the end of the day no other stick on the market has these features all included under 1 pound. Id say these are innovative in that aspect.

Luv luv luv the idea!!!! I’ve learned a lot over the yrs what’s important to me stand and saddle hunting. Weight is #1 for me. However the system compatibility of a LWCG double step paired with any LWCG stand is worth the extra couple ounces. I run the Latitude Carbon SS sticks and for the money you can’t beat them in my mind. $600+ for 4 sticks becomes cost prohibiting!!!! For a marginal few ounces either of the other 2 are better options still at this point. There’s not enough advantage to me to see the value. However if moneys not an issue and I am a believer buy once cry once these are top of the line!!!!! You won’t find better stick setup alone for sure. What I like better then the latitude sticks I have is they stack better. The LWCG sticks stack even better though. These are an upgrade in my mind from the timber ninjas but very cost prohibitive. Most people see the price but don’t think of this: 3 Pk of Tree Styx - $485 3 Pk of Tethrd Ones - $350 + 2 rolls of stealth strip - $45 + 3 amsteel aiders - $60 = $455

Those look good. Im like you I like the thought of aluminum a little more. I just couldn’t trust my latitude sold them and went with the arsenal icons and they are pretty slick.
yeah aluminum sticks just seem to hold there value for longer and may last a lifetime, I worry about the longevity of carbon and the pin and glue system.
I’m wondering how they’ll hold up in sub freezing temps and how noisy? As for price no can do. If they’re reducing price for larger quantities that’s more reflective of what they should be priced at, they’re not going to take a loss just because you buy more.
Maybe I missed it, but I was wondering how they worked with wet boots, if they get slippery or make any noise. I have an XOP stand that I don't use anymore because it is slippery and my boots squeak on the platform when it gets wet.
