There's actually a whole extra layer of reference in the McClellan Family Townhome. The poem the Mr. Handy recites to the deceased son is "There Will Come Soft Rains," a poem written by Sara Teasdale in 1918 during WWI and the Spanish Flu Pandemic. Ray Bradbury used her poem as a plot device as well as naming his story after it.
I absolutely love fallout 3, I gave it a replay recently and it holds up so well. It's a shame that some people will say "new vegas is better" and not give fo3 the love it deserves as well.
Fallout 3, from my point of view is about tha art of end of the world and mankind which games like fnv cannot surpassed. Hundreds of years old decaying ruins, hellish wasteland, dying earth And losing of Hope. And, still, its beautiful and adventerous to live and breath in such world. You can just Explorer thé ruins, feel the atmosphere of doom, your doom, nothing you'll ever do for anyone or yourself can ever change how our world will end up but, nevermind, life Is beautiful and worth living.
Fo3 was my introduction to Fo series and I will always love the game, specially the soundtrack. But Fnv is definitely my favorite. I like the western style with the country music soundtrack.
New Vegas is definitely the better game, however Fallout 3 will always have a special place in my heart for being the game that really got me into the series. I played New Vegas first and that's how I fell in love with the series but Fallout 3 is what made me sink my teeth in deeper. Definitely have the most hours in it
Thanks for doing this video. I would love to play Fallout 3 again, but Steam's version won't work on Windows 10 or Windows 11. I'm hoping the rumors about a Fallout 3 Remaster are true.
Strange. I play the steam version but I do have mods. Maybe there’s one that can get it running for you. I also hope the remaster rumors are true! Would be awesome. Thanks for the comment and for watching.
Not too long ago Fallout 3 was updated to work without the Games For Windows Live file. You should be able to run it just fine without any moss like I do.
You did awesome but and it's not just you other youtubers do it as well, so you can edit the audio AVGN showed how he does it in a video where he shows how he does an episode but the sound so I normally have my TV at 10 but when the MR Gusty started telling that bed time story I had to turn up my TV to 43 just to hear it and then when it was done your voice was louder not as loud as others and again at 7:50 that dude is even quieter some how you do t have to make everything louder just when your showing clips I can always turn down my volume but I really hate turning it up cause I know the next person or video I watch will be stupid loud
@LunarLegendsG well it's great what your doing I'll sub if the next video is better it doesn't have to be perfect just better cause I believe in you bro 🙌 🙏

Yeah no worries. I noticed the game sound was too low after I recorded which was unfortunate. Appreciate the feedback though and thanks for watching.
