Yeah, that is the U-2. Only two of them were shot down: one over the Soviet Union in 1960, and another during the Cuban Missile Crisis a couple years later

I got to see a B1 Lancer today..... wow! Also, a B-29, B-25, T-38, F-16, F-18 and a C17 (plus a KC135 and C130, both common here). On the ground: F-22s, F-35, an A-10..... no C-5 this year but I'm fine with that 👍

Other than that, nothing :( I haven't seen an airshow in 17 years either, watching these videos is making me so hungry to watch more live! Once things are up and running again I can't wait to go to an airshow like this!

In California we have the Capital City Airshow in Sacramento and Beale AFB is close by. Every year we get to see the U2. You have to appreciate how loud it actually is when it's taking off. It's very docile in the air. Seems like every year I go they did a touch and go and almost straight verticle climb and it was deafening. The new F-35's are also extremely loud.
Obviously F-117 B2 F-22 F-35 and many more but all stealth planes in America has produced are extremely unique in signature sound and shape there is only one plane that looks like the F-22 you're pointing out the obvious why? How many were produced ? how many do they currently have? What was the amount at the beginning that they were going to acquire of the F-22? What other countries fly the F-22 and why? How much did they cost per unit? I guess you could answer all those questions without any assistance

The screaming engines on the U-2 and the Il-76 had me wincing a little bit compared to the others.
Certainly are the most high pitched. The IL-76 is similar to the B-52 sound, they give you a tinnitus ring when they fly over you.
