Could see that some of the ideas were taken from that reinhardt short: Ground omnics with a larger 'boss', repeating phrases twice but with almost two opposite meanings given the situation "Live with honor, die with glory" also that slow mo when someone told everyone else to go and was prepared to sacrifice themselves. Worked really well in the Reinhardt short, totally expected it to work well here as well.

Here, with this Tracer/Winston interaction. Honor and Glory with, well, Honor and Glory line, as well as the contrast between "Get back to your team, Reinhardt!" and him actually getting to his team. In The Last Bastion, there are plenty of such moments (even though zero words are spoken, the actions are repeated), like when in the beginning Bastion offers a stick to Ganymede for its nest and then Ganymede offers a stick to Bastion when he's having his flashback. In Alive, I mean, that's rather obvious, Widow's words in the beginning and in the end ("When I was a girl, I had a fear of spiders..."), and in addition to that this prolonged exchange between Tracer and Widow: "Thrying to crash in on the party, love?" and "Looks like the party is over." Sombra's origin story: starting with "Who is Sombra? To the system - nobody" and ending with "Who is Sombra? You'll never know." In the Hero short, the whole introduction with the monologue from Alejandra's mother (hope I didn't misspell) as well as the girl looking at the poster when in the monologue her mom says something about telling her the stories of heroes to give her hope - and then the monologue from her mother in the end, and her taking the poster with Jack and co. This little self-referencing trick is often used to show the contrast between "before" and "after," to show the growth or just to remind the watchers of something in the past as I understand, and OW writers seem to like it a lot XD

To hopefully clear up the confusion, Overwatch 2 is majorly going to be a pure PvE, co-op story campaign that continues some time after the Recall Cinematic, and those following after. This does not mean that Overwatch 1 will be replaced, and Kaplan (my man!) announced that the two games will be a shared experience. All cosmetics you've unlocked in 1 will transit with you in 2. All new Heroes, PvP modes and maps will be shared with the 1st. As Jeff Kaplin himself stated- nothing gets left behind, and #NoOneGetsLeftBehind.
One of the best reactions on TH-cam, the only place that I felt a bit off was when Genji used his ultimate and said 竜神の剣を喰らえ! That's usually the most hyped point of the video for any other fan, but I figured that's because you haven't played this game that long. I got goosebumps by just hearing that ultimate line, way before seeing he actually cut off the robot's hand.
Just out of curiosity 1. Do you plan to react to the gameplay trailer 2. Has jersey been getting as much snow as us up in northern Ny, we got a foot today alone
