No one would know that a person didn’t graduate unless it’s told & the brothers n laws aren’t hers , they r his. It was soo annoying to hear this being repeated. 2nd story I’ve heard before.
It seems that Asians take pride in Family honor. The younger sister had a mental breakdown due to both of her parents deaths. Then having her brother to raise her. Glad that she got out of that depression. She could go back to school later but some jobs now you don't have to have a degree or high school diploma. She became an author. And some people learn trades and learn from experience which sometimes is much better. Those inlaws were very snotty. Their relatives got mad at them in the end for their embarrassing the sister at the wedding.
Story 1: this is a cool story. However Nora's parents are not "her" mother-in-law; but her brothers. And how did Nora's father become Zoey's step father-in-law? It would be best that the in-laws be edited to their names Ex-sister-in-law is ok though.
They are fake stories written in a hurry to get them online, with no time for proofreading and finding the inconsistencies of the stories they make no sense

This is most likely an Asian family cause they are all about family honor and if they attend college. Today you can have a high school or college degree and not have a lack of common sense. And it depends what type of degree they attained. Liberal arts is not really a great degree plan.
This 8th grade graduation is not legal per united states federal law and every time found out that school is closed following year by federal courts! It is still federal law that all children attend school until age 16! Tell me the town and it will be gone!

In the USA we are required to attend school until 12th grade, unless our parents or guardians sign us out at 16years old but you must have a job to be singed out of school. You can't get a divorce by filling out a paper, you must go to court. Children do not inherit before the wife. Spouses inherit the deceased person's property first.
In America no one graduates from middle school and by quitting school in ninth grade or actually first year in high school then at age 16 she would be eligible to study and pass a State GED test and still get a high school diploma! Just reading english is not enough! You must be able to pronounce words correctly and understand how relations in families work!
For the First story - The bride and groom attend the reception where the MIL stood up and demanded that Axel sever ties with his "uneducated" sister. Axel refused. So this implies that Axel and Nora were already married, when Axel walked out. Which means a Divorce would have to be actioned. No mention of divorce at all. Must be the shortest wedding on record - less than 30 minutes!! LOL At the end After Zoey thoroughly humiliated Nora's father, the phrase "Broken engagement" was mentioned and right after that my "Ex-SIL". Again, this was not just an engagement. They had a wedding. And Nora did not become the SIL until the wedding actually took place. So many words are NOT being used in the right context. At 20 mins - I feel the repetition of these days is Happiness?? WTF? That makes absolutely NO SENSE at all. At least not in English!!! It sounds like a translation gone wrong. Whoever is writing these stories is NOT a Native English speaker. I never listen to the voices. I only read the captions. This was a poorly written story. I am not even going to bother reading the rest of the stories in this video.
I think that in Asian cultures a couple can go to an office With their residency card and I.D and register their marriage. A photo is taken of the couple like a passport and that is stamped. They are considered married. It's up to them if they want a formal ceremony. That's the way I've seen it watching Asian series.
I would have told the hag to take care of HERSELF she's not a baby. Also, WTH didn't the husband & MIL not do something stronger than words? It takes her acting out in front of an outsider to get the MIL to smack down that brat!!
It’s strange that the narrator described Zoey’s brother’s mother in law as her mother in law.Axel, her brother was a very principled man and cancelled the wedding after the snobbish mother in law insulted Zoey in public during the wedding reception. Serves Nora and her parents right for their unacceptable attitude. The family didn’t realise that Zoey is actually a top author. Zoey wanted to break her contract with the publishing company where Nora)s father worked and he had to resign from his job as he was blamed by the company for the termination of the contract. He only had himself to blame for his snobbishness.
