noctis was FAR more overpowered and "badass" but they changed it so he'd be relatable and HUMAN coz he sure goes through so much but he eventually turn on the badass mode by the end :')

The game that had so much potential
This is an amazing video. Though I'm quite sad that it's plagued with comments on how Noctis is Sasuke or based off of him. It's tiring to see people make pointless references like that, they should look at characters with a new and opened mind, without comparing them to another.
Sasuke is an amazing anime character, and Noctis is an amazing game character. But yeah, neither one is anything like the other, looks included.

i totally agree with you on that, it was an okayish game but it wasnt the game from all the trailer we've got to see thru the years.
