May i ask u something? My motherboard indicates it’s a dual channel ram slot but it only has 2 slot. Do you mind if it’s actually dual channel or only 2 ram slot?
bro the specs of r5 8600g says it will support 5200mhz ram. I have seen some screen tearing and flickering too by some users. so should I spend on 6000mhz or 5200mhz?

Im looking at a hp envy 14 360x ryzen 5 8640 16gb lpddr5, idk if its dual or singal. Do you know where i can find that out at ? Im looking at specs and "from the manufacuter" but it dosent say single or dual. Its on bestbuy but idk where to get its full specs from. Would appreciate so so much if you could help.
The 8000g APU series only supports dual channel memory, in short they should perform about the same, but the 4x8gb configuration would have a bit worse performance since 2 ram sticks would have to share the same "lane", you could say, meaning there is some overhead that doesn't exist on the 2x16gb configuration. Last time I checked the overhead for using 4 ddr4 ram sticks on a dual channel cpu was basically margin of error levels of worse performance, as for ddr5 I don't see any reason as to why it would be different.
Um I have no plan for this, because nowdays SSD is always winner vs HDD. SSD = less stutter and more fast time loading/textures and HDD = a lot stutters/ slow loading textures / loading time and missing textures graphics on some games.
This APU supports Ram speed upto 5200 MHZ, so we cant OC the Ram above 5200, guess buying a 2X8GB @ 5200mhz makes sense as it is much cheaper than 5600mhz, 6000mhz and if you are not going to upgrade ur CPU and add a dedicated GPU in future.
Now its time to break my 16 gigs ram in the middle
It's like 1 hand with 16 fingers versus 2 hands with 8 fingers.. so choose wisely..
🤣
Not 8 fingers..it's 8 fingers *each*

Only if chip makers made a quad channel memory controller 😔😔 most motherboards have 4 ram slots
If you have time, would you test the APU at Windows 11 23H2 vs 24H2?
I am interested in the 5600G and 5700G

Two slots = dual channel, so if you put two sticks of ram on motherboard then will be dual channel.
@@ChristoGevedjov thank you bruv, im having a frametime issue maybe because im only using a single stick of 16gb ram for my music and video rendering.
@@NielMagat Yeah, single stick is always have random stutters and lower fps. These cpus needs dual sticks for smooth.

2x16

more ram it means more latency

Ryzen 5 5600G | 2x8GB vs 1x16GB vs 2x16GB RAM OK?
so... dual channel make the temperature higher than single channel?
¿también ocurre con gpu dedicada? sin usar los gráficos de la apu?
Whats differwnce between C power and G power draw? Thanks
G = GPU and C = CPU.
@@ChristoGevedjov so both added together is 'total power', is that how it works, thanks.

Yes.
@@ChristoGevedjov its because im using dual channels not because im using 32 gigs of ram right?

also does 8600g with 2x16 gb ram 6400 mhz performs similar or better than gtx 1650 build ?

in DDR 5 :
1 ram stick means = dual channel
2 ram sticks means = quad channel
4 ram sticks means = quad channel 😅😅
the frametime is also significantly lower on quad channel
