The basketball unlicensed cards look almost identical to the ones you'd get of Shaq/Penny/MJ out of the vending machines at the arcade on Saturday back in the 90s.
I would love the Suwinski. Unfortunately I am not sure if he will ever be in the majors again. He was better before the batting coaches changed his swing.
My buddy bought a basketball blaster over my house once. Smacked it so hard off the coffee table, that it hit the wall 20 feet away. “Not in my house.” Rip Dakembe
I know you weren't thrilled with the Shaedon Auto...but that card is a hold IMO. Sapphire Orange Auto for a 20 year old 6'6" 2-guard that averaged 16/5/3 in his 2nd year? I get wanting to get your money's worth on a rip, but a lot of the time that comes down the road. Wemby is an outlier in basketball. I think the pandemic really skewed how people see cards. We used to rip to put cards away, not make our money back immediately. It was the idea that they'd become stars and possibly hall of famers down the road, it wasn't for the instant turn around. The hobby needs to get back to the COLLECTING aspect, the "quick buck" period is over.
I am surprised no one ever points this out, but the 2024 Topps chrome basketball design is just a copycat of the 2023 Topps pro debut baseball design. Very little effort was put into the design, they take the minor league pro debut baseball design from last year and throw a cheesy little cartoon style basketball in the corner and call it good🤣
Sapphire Baseball looked so much better and I’m not even a baseball fan. Chrome basketball was just disappointing all around. And you know the reason it’s more expensive, cause of Wemby. It’s that simple
@@fliplife67 I make a decent living and I used to collect before COVID but even I am like nahh I'm not spending this type of money on cardboard. I could afford it if I really wanted to but I see to many boxes where they get like 5 to 10% value back. But I can totally see people who suck with their finances trying their luck. Like I said gambling addicts. It's gotta hurt to get dusted though if you can't truly afford a box. But if I money wasn't an issue then sure I'd buy boxes here and there. Just my 2 cents. Every purchaser has a different scenario or story. But I'm sure the dusty boxes can really hurt some people.
I will NOT be buying either of these boxes. I don’t like the design at all and I’ve watched numerous cracks today and I’m pissed for all of you guys!!! How long are yall going to keep buying this overpriced garbage before everyone says enough is enough and stops buying them. If everyone would understand that we could stop this crap!!!
unlicensed cards look fake and cheesy can't wait until panini is gone this year thank you jesus they lost all the license please god let good companies come back and restore the hobby
The answer is always money. The companies know they can keep moving prices up and their target customers will always buy. The average person is not their target customer anymore.

"Dude, that's a nice pull!!!"-- Jack Suwinski, or maybe his mom.
Killing it with the movie clips!!! Super Troopers and Baseketball!!! Some classics
I got crushed by sapphire basketball. THe definition of high risk, high reward.
Love the intros, to hell with the complainers! I live for that song!
Even with the cracked ice sapphire Topps Chrome Basketball still looks horrendous.
TC baseball has quickly became my favorite behind logofractor in breaks. Ive been doing great in breaks
Your meme game was strong in this video
Let’s go with the Blazers box! Beautiful
Kudos to Lively Collector for the best edits in town love it!
The Topps basketball is the definition of the sad trumpet letdown.
And yes I am so excited for the basketball to start back up.
Loved the Super Trooper addition
Hey RGL, ❤❤❤ the intros brother! Haters gonna hate!! Keep doing you 🐐!!
Cool products, I would never open one myself so thanks for the video
Why the difference in price the world will never know😂 U said it best🤙
I think we need to rip a case of each on Saturday to get a good sample size 😂
Great video
Nice last card Scoot
I use that enhance line from super troopers multiple times a week and it’s been years since anyone gets the reference hahahah

Encarnacion-Strand has MAJOR power potential and he hits for average (not necessarily in the 30 games he played this season). He could be a star!
As long as breakers and rich people are willing to spend that much money, they will continue to go up.
They are killing it for the regular Joe. The vast majority of collectors are being priced out of the hobby completely. It’s sad
Couple of very fun boxes, I will say the baseball looks WAY better than the basketball
🔥🔥🔥
How common are the Infinity inserts in Sapphire basketball? Are they case hits?
I think they're one per box?
@@RunGoodLife Really? You didn't pull one here. I watched the wrap up few other box breaks and they seem quite rare.
@@mookz34 Sorry, meant one per case (10 boxes)
@@RunGoodLife 🙂
I got the Bowman first red snake skin auto of Jeter Martinez if you’re interested
It’s still better than Panini.
I like CES but that's rough for both boxes.
All the people I saw rip sapphire baseball this year regretted it. They all took massive baths. Not worth it for the price.
I’ve been waiting for you to rip basketball sapphy. I’ve seen some people ripping this and not knowing anything but Wemby.
I think that 1/1 was pulled already.
Got a wade meckler /10 black auto and yamamoto auto in one box... some will be loaded and some will be absolute duds
Ngl the Sapphire does make the basketball ones look a lot better 😅. But that bait and switch they did is absurd
shohei>judge shouldnt even be a debate
I’ll take the CES auto if you wanna make a deal

You're kind of like a Card Jesus? Because you suffered we all survive?
One word victor lol
topps is not nice. i mean cmon $1000 and nothin at all!? we're human beings for god sake
Not Topps anymore, It's run and owned by Fanatics
"3 minutes ago" is arousing

Ooooof dusted
Topps Basketball is rough
Neither box was worth a 100 I don’t get how people are willing to spend big money on products with very few odds of even breaking even.
Addiction to gambling. Chasing the thrill
@@JerkyJones100 I do wonder what what type of income is needed for the hobby.
