You should do a no evidence challenge where you wish for knowledge at the very beginning and then MUST use night vision goggles for the entirety of the mission and can't turn them off
Against a Banshee, I recommend a couple of DOTS and a line of Motion Sensors in a hallway and a Crucifix under you instead of that Parabolic Mic nonsense. I sat there for 5 minutes, and it screamed only once. The Banshee will roam to its target. That roaming can be clearly visible with DOTS when it shows you, and you can see on the Motion Sensors that it is actually approaching you. It will stand there for a few seconds and then it roams back. I tested it on Tanglewood. The Banshee was in the kitchen. I was near the entrance, and it was pretty obvious that the ghost was walking towards me. It can even start a hunt on top of you, so be careful. Place Crucifixes under you. The roaming is actually quite frequent. At least it was to me. I hope it helps.
I would love it if they would add ghost events like wall punches, yells, drowning sound etc. Be so bad ass if a ghost just punched a wall right in front of you.
1:25:31 I thought about Phasmo IRL a bit, have it like an escape room set with AR and a network of speakers with motors on the door and flickering lights. The ghost and the stuff the ghost can throw is all in AR so it can be reset. It might be hard to get some of the things like stamina or the truck working and it would probably all have to be on one floor otherwise people might fall down the stairs but I think with some thought and a lot of money it could be pretty cool.

Initially it included reinstalls but it still counts unique installs per device, so someone can still potentially bankrupt a developer using virtual machines if they wanted to. I messed around with "I wish to be safe" on Maple Lodge. Had a ghost near the entrance and stood on the 2nd floor of the cabin. Flashed my flashlight once and then hid and listened to the ghost gradually coming to my position like a freight train. (Was a fast ghost, just not a Deo, If I recall correctly.) Was super wild to see.
With that Onryokai game, that is exactly why I leave the spirit box on for a while to see if I ever get a failsafe answer. My teammates always turn it off on me though.
I agree, it's nice to leave it running but it's also kind of annoying to hear constant static, plus the static might drown out noises that you would otherwise hear
I think a good fix for the monkey paw “bug” would be that the player goes blind if they leave the room they made the wish from. I feel like that would be better than an invisible barrier.
I don't really get why for the light-sanity system, why they don't just calculate distance from the position of the player to the main light source as raw numbers. Check if the light source is on, then calculate how far the player is from the primary light source(s) in their current room, and assign values based on that. You don't need to calculate "how bright" the player or the room is. Based on the MASSIVE performance hit of the old system, it seems as though they were constantly calculating a hundred beams of light at a time to determine brightness.
I wish to be safe is by far the best wish you can make even if you don't get any hiding spot for it because in many maps when the ghost goes into a different floor it won't hear you at all and you won't hear him properly so whenever the ghost enters the stairs he basically becomes a stupid yokai and it makes it so hard to do hunt tests such as obake test, oni , phantom , yokai , ... but with that wish you can lure those idiot ghosts to your looping spot without having to risk your life luring them!
Are you sure CJ Said that about the Yokai? I swear back in your old videos when the Monkey Paw first came out you said that even a Yokai could find you.
I believe the Yokai also gets a range increase, but where all of the other ghosts will find you EVERYWHERE, the Yokai won't get you at for example another wing of Asylum. I'm not 100% sure though, I almost never get the monkey paw

Regarding Starfield. For what i seen so far, all reviews get that there's a lot of missing content, which no man's sky does better at everything. You might as well play no man's sky, a lot of more content and fun stuff for viewers, check Quinn for references.

Hey insym. I’ve been watching you for the lifetime of phasmo and I have a challenge idea for you. One hunt challenge.! You start with 80% sanity and it drains normally but you have to get as much evidence as possible before it hunts. You can figure out the ghost during the hunt, but after that you have to leave with what you think the ghost is. You can tweak the sanity if its to easy or to hard. Also tier 1 or tier 2 items only and I think it would be more fun if made a video on all maps. Enjoy the challenge and keep making great videos.

Starfield is a snoozefest. Also, there is no outrage over the pronouns, it's the fact that they're shoehorned in everywhere that's irking people. If people want to roleplay as the opposite sex, just chose it in character creation. I can't think of a single transperson, who isn't just bandwagoning because they have zero personality, and need external factors to seem interesting, who'd want to create a character that looks like one gender or the other, and then choose opposite pronouns. It's so incredibly hamfisted and stupid, and only there to meet some arbitrary quota from a marketing suit who doesn't care one bit about these issues, outside of checking a box so the media won't launch a crusade against them. Too bad the media already has, proving once again that it's ridiculous to try to fulfill any such "demands".

It was not EMF 5. Ghost events give EMF 4, but this time it was stacked with an interaction. You can see it clearly if you go frame by frame.
