In generation 1 most(not all) rock type pokemon were part GROUND type. This caused the common misconception "it dont affect rock types" but it's actually the GROUND type which is unaffected by electric.

J Wittz wasn’t in the 2016 cypher because he was commentating at the Pokémon worlds/nats (I cant remember which), but they shot the cypher outside of the venue during the event lol.
9 months late but turns out CTC has a playlist called Flextape on Soundcloud, I can provide the link in an edit, but it's songs he had on his channel LONG before he privated all of them (god I still remember them). But yea, CTC is a perfectionist and during a leak of his and Shofu's song, he rewrote his ENTIRE verse even tho it was amazing enough

The "first cypher" mentioned in scoots intro is from a vid made in 2011 that was technically the first pokemon cypher, but it only had shofu and scoot on it.
