    I want to do a track day so badly, can’t wait to get my mt10sp next year

      Mate you will love it, it's surprisingly good fun on track. Doesn't have the top end of a supersport, but honestly you won't care, it's still very satisfying to ride hard. Brakes and suspension are well up to the job.
      Can't wait for my next rack day on this thing...

      @@ubergregmoto I've had both the R1 and the MT07 so I feel like this would be the best of both worlds for me. I still have a ton of parts such as the akra and carbon engine guards which would fit directly onto the sp. I will make a video once I get mine! Ride safe pal

    Watched a few folks track day video's on these MT10's. Seems they're just about the fastest things ever. No ones been over taken whilst on one. Epic sounds 😎 Thanks for sharing your day.

      Ha! I don’t know if they’re the fastest, but the bike definitely has a way of seriously egging you on…
      Appreciate you watching!

    If that other bike was an R1, my goodness they're bloody quick! However, as an MT10 owner, I enjoyed watching the improvement as the weather and the day progressed. Well done.

      Thanks for watching!
      Yeah, the sports litre bikes just have that extra 40+ hp at the top end and leave me for dead on the straights 💨
      The 10 is extremely satisfying on track though, and I really can’t wait to do another track day in ‘22.

    Hi your rearset is a stock one or did u change to the aftermarket one? Thanks!

    • @ubergregmoto
      @ubergregmoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, I was running the stock rearsets on this track day, and was scraping the peg feelers. Just ordered an aftermarket kit to raise and move them back; also going to order adjustable Gilles handlebar risers to lower them for sportier rides and raise them for touring.

    Does the wind turbulence not bother you not having a screen??

    • @ubergregmoto
      @ubergregmoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not really, because the sprint down the straights only last a few seconds and going into a tuck position helps, too.
      I do have a touring screen for big trips, but on the track it’s more fun without it-feels faster 😈

      @@ubergregmoto I've got a screen on my MT10. Have you ever noticed, that everyone, who has an MT10, is utterly in love with them, as am I?

      @@RichardASK the bike just drips with character, doesn't it? That and the fact that it's very happy doing whatever you want it to do is its secret sauce, I think.

      😂 it’s fine mate. The light always came on whenever it rained or I’d wash the bike (dealer said it was just a bit of water getting in the exhaust).
      De-catting the exhaust sorted it out 😉. 21k miles travelled and still going strong.

      It's the same with the Yamaha MT09, I got mine when it was raining hard one day and got a lil bit of panic. Apparently it's the o2 sensor that's making a fuzz about a little water. Unplug the battery and leave it for 2 minutes and reconnect and it's gone. Now I just leave it there to be... :)
