Fragrance Review of Fougere Noire by Sultan Pasha Facebook: fragranceview Instagram: fragranceview My channel on the paranormal, ufo, alien, space & science. Weekly videos every Sunday. AliensView: / channel
I sampled this fragrance about a year ago and it's cheaper offering by Sultan Pasha called Etude de Fougere and let me tell you the first thing that came to my mind was "This must be what Heaven smells like"! Absolutely astounding how magical this fragrance is. It is transportive and immediately uplifts your mood. I cannot really describe how this fragrance changes your outlook in life by just one application but I know to this day I have not smelled anything quite as sacred. I've tried many niche and luxury fragrances...this is my favorite without a doubt.
Yup, Sultan Attar's project nicely. I should say most do. He does a nice job with his pines. I love lavender also. Sometimes though . Haven't sampled this one from him. I'll have to go through his samples . Great review Peter.
Thanks, and well done, your description of forest notes magically transported me home. I am interested in exploring attars more. Do you know a rose/saffron Attar you can recommend?
Bro my English is not good I really like the way u talk about perfume can u pls review about Maison lancome oud bouquet (2014 batch )....it's my love I like to hear about ur thoughts 🥳🥳
Another very good video, thank you. Where do you go to have all these samples? Is there websites you could recommend to buy some in the US? Is there tradeshows or shops you go? Thanks
Hi Peter, I'm Mauro from Buenos Aires, very good page, congratulations! I wanted to know what you thought about the fragrance mon Guerlain edp, which you tested in the Dubai duty free video. thank you very much!!! Cheers!
Thanks for the review! Like this one too. Had received a sample of this along with an order and had totally forgotten about it . Just tried it last week and i think i have got to get me some more😊
That's a stunning array of ingredients there. Is there a danger of overcomplicating things with the amounts of elements or does the end result negate that, do you think?
Something new to me. I don't have much experience with oils, except of some commercial mainstream olis. So it was interesting to hear something about it!
Hello Peter!. I have been binge watching your video's and have 2 questions. You mentioned that some fragrances don't last very long while others can last all day...why is this? Is there another component to the fragrance that is added that does this? I was told to layer my fragrance. First with the body lotion then the powder and then finally the perfume. Is this the only way this can be done? It is such a treasure to be able to find a fragrance that lasts all day long and would like your input on this subject, I value your opinion. Also...how do you feel about women wearing Oud? Do you feel that this is a masculine sent or do you feel that it's okay for women to wear. I have been known to wear men's fragrances because many of them smell so good....so what do you think?
Complicated answer, depends on the composition and notes used which determines how long a fragrance lasts.. also skin chemistry plays a part, some people react better than others... - Oud is unisex in my opinion! Many mens fragrances can be worn by women, and the same for women's perfumes, a lot can be worn by men.. just wear what you enjoy!
Thats a great breakdown. His attars have some level of complexity and I enjoyed your explanations of the different layers of the composition. Do you have any that you would buy yourself?
Not personally, though I liked Ensar Rose, it's just too expensive for me personally to be willing to buy. Angkor he made is very good too, but the prices are out of my wallet size, when it comes to Attar like that it would be cheaper to make something myself with my own oils
Hey brother, its Vancouver D" regarding the attar made in India that smells like earthy rain, there's a common title for it MITTI, there's a few places that have it,just letting you know,,,I'm really considering ordering it to try
From the notes breakdown it seems like quite a lot on the plate to swallow. I feel like it might be too heavy but could be perfect for very cold days. The bottle looks interesting. The juice looks quite dark as well. It reminds me of vintagey fragrances.
since you like lavender, have you tried MFK masculin pluriel, i like lavender but has to be smooth not sharp, this one is GORGEOUS!!! so smooth, creamy lavender! let me know if you have and if you like it 👍
Very thoughtful and informative review Peter. Do you have any plans on reviewing other attars in the future? Have you experienced any Swiss Arabian fragrances?
I have a sample of Fougère Noire and your description of the notes couldn't be more precise. However, all Attars and Oud oils always have massive projection and sillage, regardless of quality, unfortunately.
Binge watching your wonderful reviews and on this review I somehow pressed a thumbs down. Blasphemy! So sorry I don't know how I could have. Anyway, you're still and always my favorite and most watched reviewer. Hope you're well and of course Teddaaaay! 💚
It is banned in IFRA / EU regulations as been an allergen, but as far as I am aware, they doesn't follow the IFRA or EU rules, they aren't certified with any safety certificates. They use a disclaimer on the website to patch test on skin, and to discontinue use if you get a reaction from it.

Hi, have you ever made a video talking about your fragrance lighting display. I really love the lighting you use.
Yup, Sultan Attar's project nicely. I should say most do.

Sounds cool! Could you do a review of atkinsons?? I think they have really quality ingredients but i want to know your thoughts on it
I don't have any samples, but I'll try to get hold of some when I can

Cheers! Glad you like it
I've not really messed around with attars too much , so this was insightful as always 👌
Cheers Robert, I don't have too much experience with Attar either
Can you do a review of Mousse Illuminee by Rogue Perfumery?
Not at the moment, i've never tried it sorry
That's a stunning array of ingredients there. Is there a danger of overcomplicating things with the amounts of elements or does the end result negate that, do you think?
It comes across quite dense yes, I think it is possible to over complicate things sure.. but some like that!
Nicely done, good to hear about this, thanks!
Hope all is ok mate and not too stressed out about you're perfume!
Something new to me. I don't have much experience with oils, except of some commercial mainstream olis. So it was interesting to hear something about it!

Cheers fella
It sounds like it smells amazing! As always, love how you describe fragrances. Definitely want to check this one out.
Thanks, Peter! ♡
Thank you, Lily! :) hope you're well!
FragranceView I am ^-^. You look well, it looks like Wim Hof-ing is working for you 😊.

@@FragranceView If you ever sell your Angkhor let me know. I would want to sample it :D
I don't own it, just tried a tiny sample, too expensive for me

Sounds intriguing and makes me want to potter in those woods😍Thanks!
Thanks!

the MFK isn't really my personal taste actually!
Very thoughtful and informative review Peter. Do you have any plans on reviewing other attars in the future? Have you experienced any Swiss Arabian fragrances?
I might review a few if I can, I haven't tried them no!
How can all those notes fit in one bottle?
magic
Is it 80s style?😎
Sort of!
Nice review!
Thank you!
The notes resemble the ingredient list for the universe. Does Sultan Pasha know the Creator? Caaaause that would be awesome. ✨🌌 ✨
I think we all know the creator really, we just forget

Interesting to know, I don't have experience with Attars in general!
But I heard the opposite, the attars don’t have good projection.
Binge watching your wonderful reviews and on this review I somehow pressed a thumbs down.

I thought oakmoss was banned? Ghastly looking bottle.
