many memories attached with Abu Dhabi Electra street, Hamdan street, Salam street and entire Abu dhabi is like a sweet home to me. love you abu dhabi and UAE
Since ten more than ten year s I am visiting abu dhabi my son working there inabu dhabhabi government as transportation engineer I like to t very much even last may also I went there very nice to stay rhere
lived here 13 years, until I secure a govt job in home.. My return was sudden, without a proper sent off.. Whenever I see abudhabi videos, an ocean of emotions erupts.. Miss its streets, beaches, friends, and moreover my workplace..those days were energetic, beautiful, and benefited financially to my life...
Was my home for 5 years and I loved it. My son was born at the Corniche before we left for Bahrain then Saudi then Oman then Philippines finally back to my home country UK last year.. What a life all good memories of the Gulf.
Abu Dhabi is like the city away from my home city Tripoli, Lebanon. Lebanese expat here from Tripoli Lebanon, born in Abu Dhabi, UAE on June 10, 1995, at the Corniche hospital. Lived there for the first 11 years of my life until I relocated to Dubai in 2006, where I am currently working in Emirates airlines. For me both Dubai and Abu Dhabi are my two favorite cities that brings me back to my childhood days. Anyone mentions either city Dubai or Abu Dhabi, I just start tearing up due to how much I love both cities, especially Abu Dhabi, which reminds me of my late aunt who I always used to love, used to take me to the dolphin show near Qasr Al Hosn Palace opposite to Futoh Al Khair, Marks and Spencer; went on a road trip to Dubai every weekend; my aunt sadly passed away in Lebanon in 2006 due to cancer, Abu Dhabi brings back memories, each time I visit the area I used to live (Khalidiyah) I remember Electra St, Al Salam St, Toys R US in Mina; The volcano fountain in Corniche, Le Meridian and Intercontinental hotel, Pre-school days in Al Dana Kindergarten from 1998-99 KG1, to 1999-2000 KG2, American International School during elementary school days (2001-2006). I am currently about 30 years old now, if I choose which city to retire by the time I’m 70 or above, I will come back to either Dubai or Abu Dhabi and die there, and despite the situation happening in my country Lebanon with the war, UAE is my home away from home. ❤
My favorite emirate of the UAE is Abu Dhabi. Al Wahda Mall used to be my go-to place to have my monthly groceries when I was working at Carrefour Al-Saqr The city has lot to offer... Safe environment, Cheap array of different foods from around the world. I used to go to church in the nearest Catholic church that speaks my language in Tagalog. and I used to go shopping at the nearest thrift shop organized by the British women. And the public beaches in the corniche is such a nice place to relax and also the Saadiyat Island beach.. I been to Fujairah, Dubai and Sharjah but I will not replace Abu Dhabi, the city is more laidback to me than overcrowded Dubai.
What a terrible place to live. Boring no life no ambiente. Just skyscrapers. People going to work. Leaving work. Omg never ever could i imagine to visit something like that😂
