I think the only trials that are mostly fine in this mod are the Dragon’s and Crane’s trial because those are mostly based on utilizing your combat skills. However, for the other two, I feel like it completely misses the point of those trials. The reason why the enemies are so sped up in those original trials is to help the player brush up on their parry timing so they’re prepared for the perfect parry when the time comes to use it. The Snake’s trial is especially helpful in aiding the player with this, as the fast speed requires the player to find a good balance between attacking and parrying. If you attack for too long, you’ll eventually take damage; and if you parry for too long, you won’t deal enough damage and run out of time. The tiger’s trial also helps with this, but it’s mostly because the enemies come flying at you one after the other, so you have to parry them quickly. When you remove that speed, these trials kinda become pointless because the player isn’t really going to think about timing their parries well, or thinking outside of the box to defeat the same enemies in a different way. They’re most likely just going to defeat the enemies the same way they always have and then struggle even more when the King’s Trial comes around and whoops their butt because they didn’t have a chance to get a feel for how to time their parries. Could they have conveyed this purpose better in the original by maybe giving the player a hint to better utilize their parries before the trials began? Absolutely. But removing the purpose of said challenge in a rebalancing mod, in my opinion, is still not a fix. It just defeats the purpose
i appreciate the attempt this mod does and i do like some adjustments such as ninja being kunoichi and the 10 mins reduced to 2, but imo the thrill of the trials (at least to me) was the enemy speed, it allowed me to react quickly tiger's trial feels like a downgrade imo because none of the parry timing feels rewarding now that it feels like you're waiting for the wolves to lunge towards you each trial focused on parrying attacks in a very quick manner, training you for the perfect parry now it just feels like you need to hold it
My god cranes trail is my least favourite but that one is very challenging I think you should make it 2 mins 30 sec instead because that player was 5 seconds left

I completely agree
The Koco Trials were hard, but I enjoyed them.
Since the patch update came last year, I enjoyed it a lot more.
Well, Sonic facing the tests of PO, VIPER, TIGRESS and CRANE.
So cool
Nice Video
I just noticed some combos are connected 😳 each fighting style I seen.
TBH the only reason why I like the trials is the atmosphere, so I'm glad that's still there
Cool
A bit easy but i like the reduced time limit
Dragons trial is stupid hard on extreme tbh
It's the *KING'S* trial that needs fixing. 💢💢💢💢💢🤬💢💢💢💢💢
Update 4:* jumps off a cliff *

@@neozillatheneontitanusgojira If you're playing on Easy, perhaps.
@@RyanBrown2K5 I did on easy and it felt like i held the parry for eternity but it must have been 5-10 seconds
