Thank you. What a decent person full of sympathy: it would be enough to enjoy, but then he has this artistically skills on top or between or as you wish to see it. Very relaxing. Human. Inspirational

Thank you very much Zsolt and the team for all of your interviews, and this one in particular! As a medical student (whose heart has always been in music), this was an especially interesting, revealing and at times almost emotional video (even if I have nowhere near Dr. Gerhaher's skill). Considering how he managed to break out of the mould of a conventional doctor - which seems to be very strong - and pursue his career in music, the idea of "moonlighting" while a student is somewhat reassuring to hear, though his support network must have been so strong. Some interesting thoughts on opera too. Many thanks again.

@@Living-the-Classical-Life Thank you so much Zsolt! I'm really a composer at heart (just trying to write as much as I can when I can at the moment - not think about performances, publication etc.), though I play the piano and saxophone and I sang in school as well. And apologies for my own late reply; I've just been on holiday - looking forward to catching up on all of your other interviews! Stephen

Hey! Just wanted to ask when this episode was filmed because in the beginning you were talking about the pandemic situation in Germany and I don't think it's so bad now (are museums still closed in Germany?)
Thanks for the answer and, as always - good job!

Just read in the description that it was filmed last year. That makes sense now!

@@primuladinverno We should have thought to have printed it on screen as well, so that people wouldn't be confused--I'll mention that to our producers--thanks! zsolt
