I own this car. I shopped around. I’m enjoying it. Bar none best tech for the price with any vehicle at around this price point. I think it’s the best looking Audi suv. B&O stereo sounds amazing. Plenty quick for my needs, nice interior. Definately feels premium. Best side warning system in the business. My only issue mine came with 20 inch wheels and the ride is rough over anything other than perfect roads. I wonder if changing the wheels would help make the ride a bit smoother. Had over a year now and not one mechanical issue.
I found the S3 pretty stiff riding on the 18’s with the non adaptive suspension. I think it was better with adaptive. Reviewers have said it’s rough on 19”s with the black pack. Others have said the Q3 is better on 19”s.
I just drove one of these home tonight. I needed the ground clearance because my old car starts plowing snow if it's more than 6 inches deep. And the snow berms are so high this year I had to open the door and stand up to see if anyone was coming before pulling out of some lots. This thing drives great on ice on the stock tires. It's fast enough and drives like a car. As soon as I got it I had to do a reverse 180 from one parking spot to another two spots over with a truck in the spot between to get out of a narrow lot and the 360 cam is like having a camera drone hovering above the car. I wish it had more analog stereo controls. I want to be able to adjust the fade without looking.
Compared to BMW X1z This car is MUCH sportier in looks and design I also in my opinion also drives better in terms of more fun to drive. Sure thr X1 has a cooler screen design, but the Audi q3 wins in exterior looks and sportiness
Same thing as my Audi q3 sline. This is a very recommended car for anybody interested in this. I am a beginner driver with parents who GRATEFULLY AND SO GENEROUSLY bought me one of these to drive to hs. I get my license february, and k am excited to drive I dios settle in this beautiful car. For those curious which one I have, Dark blue (navy) exterior, brown leather interior, Quattro, s-line, LED
Q3 is a great car and has plenty of power. Anybody who buys this car will get tremendous value. Question for the experts here: 1:50 is footage of the rubber floor mats. Are those for the front, rear or hatch? I agree the key fob is very basic but how often do you look at your keys besides locking/unlocking or for the hatch? Plus, you can press the lock button on the hatch and that feature will lock and arm your car.
You have to buy them separately. They usually come in a set for both front and rear. And if you want, you can get one for rear cargo area too. The key also use to lock your glove box.
Pashaw to anyone who says something is "a poor man's" anything. I'm not about to pay more for something I don't want or need just because others are petty. I love the Q3. Though I do wish we got the RS Q3 like they do in Europe.
Very Nice, the Audi Orange and White paint jobs look amazing, beautiful. Really wish they would go back to a fold up center console in the front seat, like the back seat, to give that bench seat feeling - unobstructed front seat for driver and passenger. :-)
A premium plus is $47,000. I just drove an Arteon SE-L r line and have to say, I was quite impressed. I do like the looks of this Q3, but the Arteon has 300 hp and AWD and has a huge cargo area.
The question this video title asks is similar to the question: "If you are up to your neck in cow feces and someone throws dog feces at you, do you duck?"
I was poking around considering what to get as a 2nd vehicle and saw this review, thought I'd give back and comment. I have a 2022 Q3, it's a smooth ride IMO. On the highway, I can blast past slower drivers with ease. I did a couple of 2-day trips with no problem. The Bose sound system is great. A nice "feature" is it takes regular gas, unlike most luxury vehicles. My wife and I leased because we were unsure if we'd keep it, now my wife wants to buy it after the lease runs out. She loves it, it's not too big, and not too small, and is more than fast and fun enough. We get occasional snow, and the AWD is nice to have. Sporty, practical, and lots of bang for the buck, it's also fancy enough to impress. I recommend getting the door exit lights that beam the 4 rings on the pavement at night, it's one of those little extra features we really like.
@@441meatloaf You are correct, I got it wrong, my headset is Bose, the Q3 is definitely using Bang and Olufsen for the sound system, I took a look just now to be 100% certain. Thanks for pointing the mistake out :)
BTW we did have one issue with the Q3, there was a rattling sound coming from the passenger side that started a while ago. It turns out there's a brake or fuel line with not enough clips causing it, the repair was free of charge because it's a recall issue.
Great review on the car! You were really detailed and helped me narrow down my choice! Oh, but one thing what is the 12V for? You mentioned it after the Parking button.
There're 3 of those in the car. They supply 12V DC output for many automobile accessories such as tire inflator, cooler, car jack, 110V converter, ect.
lost me at auto start stop, have it in my new car and I hate it. I just can't get used to turning it off every damn time, never buying car with that unwanted feature.
I am going to buy Q3 sportback or X2. I have a hard time deciding. According to reliability lists German cars are not the most reliable cars. JD power ranks them below average, maybe because Americans drive cars like a stagecoach ? But anyway you should not believe everything that you read.
Would go with the Mazda CX-5 turbo over the Audi because I still believe the wiring harness in all VW automotive products are inferior to Mazda, Toyota etc. The contacts (wiring connection plugss) are more susceptible to corrosion and shorts. Shorts are a bitch...Don't believe? See current recall on VW SUVs due to a wiring harness short. As electronics get more complex, this becomes more of an issue and the Japanese aren't giving away any secrets.
Clean looking, but that power, all I hear is a Taos with a Tiguan engine in it. For that money or less, you could get a CX-30 turbo fully loaded that's faster, torquier, and more reliable. Could probably get a CX-5 turbo too and have usable space.
@@nestfoo Sure..... Just with a VW engine, VW Golf platform.... It's an Audi in the way a Penguin is a fish. I'd much rather save the money and get a bigger Tiguan with the same power and efficiency, or save up for an actual Audi with an Audi built engine like the 3.0L V6 in the SQ5, or an RS3 with the awesome 5 cylinder. Or, as I said, get a fully kitted out Mazda. Heck, we're even in Acura RDX territory.
It looks and feels cheap at this price point. Hard plastics everywhere. Noisy. Old key fob refurbished from Volkswagon. I'd go with the BMW X1, Volvo XC40, or Mercedes Benz GLA over this garbage any day. I'd also take reliability from Mazda, Toyota, or Honda over this as well.
Reality is... You do not have enough money to get this Audi or BMW or Mercedes... So your frustation is clearly noticeable. No way, settle for any Ford or GMc🤣

Thank you for sharing that!!! We were all very curious how you were enjoying your purchase.
I have the 19” wheels and would be happy to trade you!
What engine size is this one. I missed it in the video

The S Line is for youngsters, as it's quite a stiff ride.

I like the color of this SUV!! Great job Ben.
I just like that the video gives the impression that the Audi dealership is just a back alley where a dude has one that fell off a Carvana truck.
LOL
Audi Q3 is a beautiful car love the orange color on it
How’s the reliability of Audi Q3s??
In place of an Audi, I bought a vw arteon. It has more power, more storage, more interior room, and a better ride on the highway.
It's not me. Ben doesn't annunciate fully all his words. Literally, blends two words together.

If this 40k I think it’s priced well for what you get. Honda CR-V and Toyota rav-4 give you some bullshit for about that price too.

The Taos is this size, Toyota Rav-4 is Tiguan (Q5) size, I like your reviews.

I got the sportback version of this. Was thinking of getting the new x1 but it just looks like a big fly, especially the front fascia
wish we had the Sportback version in the usa
@@Dior444L you're not the only one. There's a lot of things I wish we got here.. the RSQ3 being one of those as well.
I also live in Salt Lake. The construction is an ever-worsening nightmare, and I feel validated. Thanks for the great review!
Wait, does this not have push start button or keyless entry handles so you dont have to push any keyfob buttons?
It does

I am going for BMW. The optic is bad for a 2023 Model
This one or the Volvo XC40?
this one
Why did you compare this to the Honda CRV and Mazda CX-5? Those cars aren't competing with this. They are about $15,000 cheaper...
I can't "see" Ben, it's too "solid"

Yeah I’ll definitely go for SQ5🤩
CX30 is not a practical vehicle. Its cramped as fuck and looks ugly with its pseudo luxury feel but terrible cladding.
You guys want to say that the Audi Q3 is compared to the Mazda CX 5 ..where did you find a brand new Audi Q3 that starts at 27,000 like the CX 5 😂
Not keen on the Q3 which is looking a bit tired now, it needs a refresh to keep up with the X1 and GLA which have moved the small SUV game on.
I've owned 4 Audi and 1 BMW.
I'd rather have another BMW than another Audi.
I love watching reviews of cars I’ll probably never buy. My American pride won’t let me 🫣
American pride with a name like Chico Perez, LOL.
That's kind of a silly reason.
