Why should I watch a tribute-band on youtube? There's tons of original material online. But this band is so amazing, when you are a Marillion-fan you HAVE TO see this.

It'll be wonderful to organize a marillion evening with fanclub either :)
Wow. You've got yourself a new fan. Being a hardcore Fish-era Marillion admirer I can only hope that you someday come to Spain and I could enter your show. The whole gig is great but especially 32:13 starting Emerald Lies - I don't think any other band can make such a good version of it.

I discovered Marillion very early in my life thanks to my dad and Misplaced Childhood, and started discovering their catalogue in 2007 thanks to a buy 2 for 1 thing at the local record store. Always loved the Fish era and never thought I could experience that specific line up live. Well, seems like I can! Really hope you're going to tour around Belgium or the Netherlands sooner or later! You definitely won another fan today!

Dopo aver scoperto Fish alla testa dei Marillion nell'inverno 1988 a casa di un amico di un amico sono partito con Misplace d Childhood e Clutching at Straws per poi finire a tutti gli altri album dell'era Fish. Non ho mai preso in considerazione l'idea Hogarth perchè sostanzialmente irrilevante come concetto musicale e tutto il mio amore per la musica dei Marillion è durato fino al 2007. Nell'autunno 2011 finisco nella musica dei Nightwish da cui sono ancora stregato per quel che riguarda l'er di Tarja Turunen e il mio "ritorno" ai Marillion di Fish si limita a Script, Fugazi, Jigsaw, Tux e Margaret... non riesco più a sentire altro, ma voi sembrate i Marillion redivivi. Ho provato ad avventuarmi nell'opera di Mick Pointer negli anni addietro, ma senza successo... oggi vi ritrovo nella mia scaletta nei video consigliati da TH-cam e, dopo un breve asolto, non riesco a trattenere una lacrima e la presente "confessione"... perdonate lo sfogo di un 50enne tornato bambino perché "Misplaced was direction and I still I do not have found direction" giusto per stravolgere le parole di quella famosa canzone del 1985...
