Hi there! The Freedom Elite 19R is fitted with residential insulation and is equipped to be four seasons. It also boasts a 20.4k BTU furnace and holding tank heating pads. Same floor plan as the Rize/Scope 18M, which I would buy if the driving position on the Promaster wasn’t so awkward, make it gas powered and I’d be all over it!
Yeah, I hear ya. It's an interesting niche build as it's inexpensive for a diesel Mercedes chassis, but still over that $100k mark. For what you get though, I think it's a decent value. Hopefully we start to see some gas builds in the future! -Ian Baker
Yeah...to be perfectly honest, my understanding is that Thor had a bunch of Mercedes 4x2 chassis' that they needed to get rid of. Camping World therefore struck a good deal with them to get this chassis at a lower price and build an affordable Mercedes B van. Thus, the Freedom Elite 19R was made. While a gas chassis is more affordable yet, you can't hate on the diesel reliability, fuel economy and safety features on this Mercedes chassis. -Ian Baker

Ironically I was at a competing dealer looking at the rize18m and told the guy if they built this floor plan on a short gas sprinter, my decision on which van would be made. Next day I see this video, but nope, it’s a diesel.

This has to be the Thor Tranquility or Sanctuary class b sprinter van. Freedom Elite are camper C class...🤔🤔🤔🚐

If they are going to do RWD, build it on a gas powered model, less expensive to buy and operate.

Yes BUT the sprinter lets you avoid the noise onan generator and do the lithium off of the diesel. Diesels are OK with idling
