Rspect for polish people! I drive every two weeks with a small truck to Ostrowiek Swietokrzyski, Stalowa Wola and Nisko. I see a lot of humble cars like this Fiat, but these cars are really the ones that put a smile on your face!
I also have this car: No power steering, no electric window lift, no A/C, 54 horsepower of which 20 are dead and the belt squeaks like hell when it turns on. But I love her so much :D Ah, I almost forgot: I'm Italian.
I'd say that for a car of this size, these things that you mentioned missing should be considered quite natural, and the power available -- perfectly adequate. People's expectations and the readiness of the automotive industry to meet them have made things quite absurd: everything is overengineered and overweight, and it still lands on the scrapyard even earlier than the cars of the olden days. Doesn't make much sense to me.
@@barsorrro I agree with you on everything you said: These 55 horsepower on 750 KG of car are more than enough to have fun too. I would like to reiterate that the "600" or "Seicento" has AC, power steering, power windows etc. as optional extras... My comment was to "make fun of her" but with really much love for her. :D
@barsorrro Nailed it. Exactly why I like my VW up, very low maintenance, very cheap to run, super reliable and easy to work on. It causes me no stress whatsoever, and I can just park it anywhere because it's just tiny and who the hell would want to steal it realistically😂
I just sold my mum's Fiat 600 because the coolant leaked and we spent too much money to fix that car over the years. I was able to sell it for 250€, it was a 2006 car and I'm happy with that. That little Fiat brought me everywhere, literally. When me and my friends used my car to go out it seemed like a clown car because it really fitted five grown men. The FIRE engine is very reliable, it's basically impossible to destroy it, you just have to change the oil and the filters. Sure, it had its problems like the steering wheel that sometimes malfunctioned, the AC that didn't work, the brakes that liked to joke and you had to pray to stop the car and on the wet asphalt it seemed to drive like on a soapy road. I think I'll miss it, I have pretty good memories with that 600.😢
Twenty years old little car, and it still works! How will age the new electric cars in twenty years? I have a Fiat Marea Weekend 1.9 JTD from 2000 year. It have twenty four years old and still running. That Italian diesel engine is made to last.
My girlfriend's brother had one of these stowed on a field. Aside from hornets nesting into it, mechanics told the boy the car was in a relatively good shape. That said.. the exhaust leaked, air filter housing was busted, at least one injector was stuck, the oil was more like tar in it, driver's seat did not latch in, so it was a hazard. These are reported to have been fixed. I am looking forward to driving it, on proper roads, once it passes its inspection. This red one is a blast, but the wipers are borken :D. Also 6:20 - impending money shift? :P Stellar driving, Joe!
Ten egzemplarz ewidentnie ma problemy ze skrzynią biegów ( piątka nie chciała wejść) oraz z wycieraczkami. Ale koszty raczej niewielkie. Autko świetne to miasta.
@@kuba6538korozja to jedno, brak części blacharskich uniemożliwia remont. Chciałem taki kupić, ale był poważnie zjedzony. Dowiadywałem się o dostępność blacharki. Wielu elementów nie ma. Odpuściłem.
This is quite literally the same engine (except for maybe a better and more modern fuel injiection) that was used on the Mark2 Uno. It was that good, they kept using it even on the 2003 Panda
