Here is a mixed rules bout between kickboxer Maurice Smith and pro wrestler Minoru Suzuki. Mo Smith would later become a UFC HW Champion while Suzuki would become a Pancrase Champ.

this isn't real. The kicks are laboured, and that KO punch barely connected. This is just a rough work.

⁠@@thatmmaguy572definitely a work. Look at how Suzuki jumps into his fall. Also it’s 1989, before mma really existed - shooto was the only org doing proto-mma at the time. You won’t find any uwf fights on any mma records websites ie this doesn’t appear on either fighters’ record on Sherdog
