National Mathematics day Celebration 2021 Government Polytechnic, Jamnagar

22nd December is celebrated as National Mathematics day across the country from 2012 to honor Indian mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan (22-Dec-1887 to 26-Dec-1920). Ramanujan showed the signs of an unfolding genius and his contributions regarding fractions, infinite series, number theory, mathematical analysis, etc and set an example in mathematics. The main objective behind the celebration is to raise awareness among people about the importance of mathematics for the development of humanity.
Government Polytechnic Jamnagar also celebrates National Mathematics day since 2019, this year also we have celebrated National Mathematics day on 21/12/2021 and 22/12/2021 with great enthusiasm and zeal.
In this celebration, an webinar was taken by Dr. Nirav H. Shah (Lect. Mathematics, G.P. Jamnagar) on 21/12/2021. And on 22/12/2021 Poster Presentation competition and Oral Presentation competition were organized for students as a part of celebration.
