Take a dark and spooky ride on the Halloween Hootenanny. Timber Mountain Log Ride is one of oldest log flumes in the U.S. built all the way back in 1969! Always a wet and wild time but extra fun in the dark with spooky lighting and some creepy monsters.

"Every year the citizens of the Timber Mountain invite the mysterious creatures that live out in the woods and caverns of the area to join them as they celebrate the season at the Halloween Hootenanny.

That ride is no where near as scary as it was some 40 years ago. The log ride back then had people tied to the logs getting sawed in half, blood every where and lots of screaming. That scene still sticks in my mind today as one of the scariest things I've seen. I guess too many people complained...

honestly, i think its because in like... 2013 they had a huge refurb that upgraded everything about the ride. (adding better animatronics, new scenes, replacing the taxidermy animals with animatronics, and a new story involving a large lumber company party!) so they changed the Halloween version to follow suit. It wasnt because someone got "offended". It was simply a product of its time and it was just time to change.

There articulation is cool and their singing is hella fantastic but how they look they look a little cool and little creepy I think it would also be cool if there were people dressed as gold miners
