Very nice thing if you can attach that blade to handle. I sometimes had to try for couple minutes to attach it, and handles are useless just after 3-4 weeks, then I have to buy new one. I tried all possible ways, but no - they look absolutely not worn or broken, but you can't attach blade to it. Both, blades and handle, are Gillette Proglide. Shaving is very good, no complains.
I have been shaved with all cartridge razors of the market. The proglide power is by far the best of the best. The flex ball takes care of my jaw line hairs and also avoiding cuts and the vibration is making the shave tuggless and it helps on cutting the hairs easier. The result is that half of passes are needed in order to accomplish a bbs.

its fun to see you doing Gillette shave sessions. for me I use the Gillette proglide or pro shield for shaving my head but for my face i use the skin guard. but In terms of your shaving the face do you recommend the pro glide or the pro shield. in the future i may consider one of these two.
I don't think it really stops the ingrown hair just by one pass.. but it's awesome,my first shave without irritation and cuts 😀 i started with Sensor 3,and then Skinguard, but it is awesome the Proglide

Proglide razor gives comfortable shaves for almost as long you want them to, the pack with a handle and four inserts is a great idea. You can wear out the handle with four refills and lots of Barbasol Cream, way over a month and still going strong. I like Bic Razors with the steel ball, but Proglide is much better.

I don't shave everyday cos my skin can't cope with that as it gets too easily worn and torn by the razor if I do it 24/7 so I shave one day then I don't shave the next day then I go back to shaving the day after that so 2 days of stubble for my face before going back to shaving

Only thing that vibrating razor did was numb my hands and fingers. 🤣 When a razor's vibrating I don't have feedback of the blade on my face. I took out the battery and use it normally.

I’m not a big fan of their post shave balm - but it was sent to me by a viewer so I use it occasionally. I LOVE the heated razor - but it should be $75 or less.

@@averageguytested Very early days but I have just done my first shave with this thing. I've really struggled the last few months trying to use various DE and SE razors, the Leaf, various creams, soaps, brushes etc etc...Well, I lathered up with some standard Nivea sensitive gel, and went to work with the heated razor. A very very pleasant experience whilst shaving and post-shave, a very noticeable lack of the burn and irritation I've been getting with DE shaving. My neck particularly is very prone to irritation and it seems much clearer using this. I'll give it a few days as there could be some ingrown hairs/irritation that appears over a period of time but so far, I am very pleased and impressed. Will still use the nice creams and brushes but the DEs that so many people love may not be the one for me...

It worked for thickness, but it’s not a cure. I recently trimmed my hair really short, so you can see my scalp more. If you have medium length hair - this will give you some volume to help

My father once sold Gillette's razor which had blade made of silver metal. He told me it was a premium razor back 25-30 years ago. But he forgot the name. Can you plz tell me the name of that razor which has silver blade as I am fed-up of buying blades again and again.

My best educated guess would have been a silver edition Gillette Sensor. Gillette stopped DE production in the early eighties with the black handle Super Speed being that final razor. DE blades were next to impossible to buy in that time frame. But in all honesty, I don't recall any blade that was mass manufactured to have silver as the metal used. It would have had to have been a very special edition blade. If the gentleman asking the question is referring to the handle, then it was a special edition Gillette Sensor in a gift case.
