    My dreams for AA7:
    -Athena as main defense
    -Franziska as main prosecutor
    -Franziska's niece (Manfred mentions having a granddaughter in the first game) makes an appearance... maybe she's training to be a defense attorney and is Athena's assistant, and the fact that she's a von Karma is a plot twist?
    -Gumshoe returns. The reason he's been absent is because he and Maggey had a kid, who we get to see causing mayhem at crime scenes because for whatever reason Gumshoe brings the kid to work with him

    • @AcanthaDante
      @AcanthaDante 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      That's true, I recall the authors clarifying that the granddaughter is Franziska's niece through an older sister, so it would be natural that the granddaughter didn't carry the Von Karma name.

    I'm thinking about a game, all 5 episodes of which revolve around one massive case, some kind of grand conspiracy, a group of villains that are united with some sort of a purpose, and each episode is us dismantling that group one by one, getting deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole, facing life-threatening situations, putting everyone's skills to the test, culminating in a trial that takes place not in the usual district courthouse, but the Supreme Court, unfamiliar territory where our names mean nothing to any participants

    • @AquaTwist_

      @@Asmodeus-D4rk We’ve only really seen the Supreme Court in Ace Attorney Investigations 2, from what I remember. So there’s a lot of potential to make it a larger focus of the next game, maybe have that be the court where Trials took place in. It would be cool to see multiple villains team up too, instead of each one being separated. It would be a nice change of pace in the story that the series has needed for so long.

    About the artstyle: a lot of people say that Apollo, or just any originally 2D characters just can’t work animated as a 3D model. This argument stems from how Dual Destinies was the first AA game in 3D, and admittedly wasn’t the best when it came to its modeling or animation.
    But I think that he can be done justice (forgive the pun) in 3D. Look at the GAAC. The animation is fluid and cartoony, yet still believable. There are transitional sequences for each pose so that characters don’t immediately snap to a different pose.
    So in my opinion, if you want Apollo to actually look good in 3D, you should get into TGAAC’s philosophy. Don’t try to just recreate his poses/animations, reimagine them from the ground up so he looks more natural.

    • @AquaTwist_
      @AquaTwist_  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@aplusgamer6595 Yeah, I agree, a lot of Apollo’s animations don’t look right when done in 3D. Remaking them from the ground up sounds like a good call, I’m just worried fans might get upset after being used to his normal animations for 4 games straight.

    For Ace Attorney 7, I would have Athena become a prosecutor by the end of the game. Simon would be her mentor, and they could then have a spin-off investigations game with her being the main character. @@AquaTwist_ Yeah I agree, Spirit of Justice really uped the game with animations sadly that game also performs really badly on the actual hardware, at some point I have seen running at 10-15 fps LOL. I thankfully played it on a emul... I mean on a "3DS" cough* so it run at a locked good frame rate, I think Dual Destinies run better but the animation quality was also very iffy. Now with the power of the Switch 2 I don't see any limitations, so they can choose between 2D and 3D, I don't think either one is cheaper or more expensive because even the 2D if they choose high quality art and animations like Famicom it will also have a certain budget plus all the investigation and evidence and court that Famicom Detective doesn't have. I think 3D is slightly more expensive (depending on how much they invest in the 3D models and other assets) I would also be happy with 3D slightly better than Great Ace Attorney because even that game looked INCREDIBLE and also run on the 3DS was even better looking than both Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice.

    @ligudinkteuf4394 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright HD would do well if its made in the same engine as that of TGAAC, actually. That game laid the foundation that TGAAC built upon with gameplay mechanics, style, and aesthetiv, so I think it deserves a standalone HD re-release. A collection re-release is near impossible even if Level 5 decided to re-release the original and prequel trilogies unless they make a spin off collection(Alfendi/Katrielle/Crossover). Business wise people would be drawn to either collections of mainline games or collections of spin-offs. PLvsPW could use a new coat of painting if its marketed as its own thing once again as well as given a canon place in the timeline!
    If PLvsPW does get a sequel, then I imagine it as a game where Apollo and Trucy face off against Alfendi and Lucy. This way it can breathe new room into the Apollo/Trucy dynamic as well as repopularize Alfendi seeing that his sister got far more promotion but failed miserably.
    If another investigations game were to happen, then I think Klavier or Nahyuta would be proper candidates for the main role. Klavier could have Ema investigate his brother's wrongdoings and resolve Kristoph's plot once and for all(MAYBE a game with the brothers investigating alongside each other!?). Nahyuta is an international prosecutor, so you could frame the game to feature him solving cases across the globe with an overarching plot going on in the background???
    For AA7 I personally think Athena and Apollo were mistreated because of Capcom shoehorning phoenix, but I think they learned from their mistakes for this one, so I wouldn't mind her getting a second chance, but I wouldn't be really that excited and jumping up and down if she gets her own game. I would definitely love to see a proper Apollo only game, or maybe, just MAYBE a true sequel to AA4 written by Takumi that connects AA4 to AA5 where you find out Kristoph's motive, what happened to the jurist system, expand more on the Dark Age of the Law, give Klavier more screen time, etc... SO many potential things can be done

    • @AquaTwist_

      I'd love to see more of Klavier! I missed him during Spirit of Justice and hope he returns in some way. I just don't know how Capcom can market Phoenix Wright Vs. Professor Layton on its own, unless if it was a budget $30 (likely digital only) HD release.

    Despite how well the series has been doing financially in recent years, Ace Attorney has been dead for nearly 8 years. The last game to be released was GAA2 back in 2017, and the final story to have ever been drafted was in 2016 with Spirit of Justice, meaning we have gone almost an entire decade without a new story. Likely because Capcom despised the financial setbacks that were AAI1 and both GAA games, they'd rather make cheaper remasters which make way more money, and now there are no more left, so they HAVE to start anew.
    What we have to remember is that the first game had only 7 people working on it, and it's extremely low budget. Yet, AA1 turned out a success, seen as a great game by many despite its limitations due to the heart and effort that went into it. What Ace Attorney needs now is a testing ground. An entirely new spinoff to test the waters, with entirely new characters, unique gameplay, and most importantly, be entirely 2D and kept on a low budget with a small team of staff. Given Ace Attorney has made a name for itself with these remasters, this might kickstart the rejuvenation of this series, once thriving, now lying dormant.

      @ also as far as the supernatrual mechanics go i think the least liked are percive and the divation pool whats your favorite and least favorite supernatrual element also would you like any of the villains to return like more or garran or engarde or would that be more lazy than creative

    Now correct me if im wrong but the director left capcom so i kinda prefer for capcom to not continue the ace attorney unless the director is still with them or someone who knows the director vision its like metal gear series where I’d prefer for konami to not continue the series unless hideo kojima is the director

      I think it was the Writer of the Sequel Trilogy who left, I’m unsure about the Director of Ace Attorney as a whole.

      @@AquaTwist_ it is something like that but i’d rather see a great games being translated and released in newer consoles rather than continuing the story with a random direction unless the writer or director can continue while understanding the old director or writer vision
      Thats just my personal opinion

    I think Phoenix Wright needs to get a wife and his own kid, and for that kid to become a defense attorney. That way they can tell new stories while still having Phoenix as a mentor, and Phoenix Wright continues his bloodline.
