With a lot of retro-mimicking titles, I notice that they make the textures low-res but they still put in *way* more level geometry than the actual retro games ever could have handled. You did not make that mistake. It looks very faithful.

i have a suggestion: try messing with bitrate for the sound. half lifes sound is low bitrate and i think it would match the visuals

that game has bhop-like skill. my friend seco programed in game. if you move mouse while jump, you can increase speed.
