Thanks Murray, sometimes doing jobs like these feel a massive undertaking, hope to make someone's life easier!! Wanted to cut it shorter but couldn't take more out!!
Thanks for the comment, appreciated. I'm do try to keep some stuff simple to follow, you could probably do majority and have someone finish the difficulty bits up Makes a massive difference in the summer 👍
Yes you can, was awhile since last done a mk2 which is like a remote motor with a gear system around the stock shaft, back in the day the only kit you could get was SPAL!
The hole in the trim was already cut, before I realised!! some of the links in the description have switches not one on top of eachother than side by side , probably cause I'm not the only one with that issue, not the preferred method 😂 It's in and working is the main thing, most videos would of probably left that out, and it's mint 👌😉🤔
@@vwtransportersandmotorcycl3729 does make a massive difference Joey, I do like the version I have, makes sense!! Thought I'd leave the mistakes in so you might be aware of a problem ahead 😄 Consider checking out some of the links if your buy from those Good luck, hope it goes well and the hammer doesn't out!!
How did you get the door card off. I noticed you cut from the light tap to it then being off. Do you have to break the clips inside or knock them up off the door card? Do you need new clips when refitting?
Perfect time to fit in time summer 🌞 Hopefully I've made it little more simple, leave the fuse to last thing to put it, and take 12v positive feed from else where is fine if it's a good feed, could always ask a local auto electrician to connect the wiring up right at the end ⚡🔌
Absolutely brilliant video. I'm convinced. Thanks a lot pal.
Glad you enjoyed it, makes a great improvement 👍
Superb video ,thought it was great as teaching tool for normal people who didn't think they could do it 👍 😀

Good video. Been thinking about this for my T5, I'm a 100% non mechanic, but might give it a go. Cheers!

Would it have been possible to cut the crimp, off and fit something smaller rather than dent the door lol?
