Once upon a time, in a big forest, lived a happy family of monkeys. The family had both big and small monkeys who loved playing together. The younger monkeys enjoyed swinging on trees and often wandered far from home. Their parents worried about them and always reminded them to stay close for their safety. The young monkeys would agree but often ran off the moment their parents weren’t looking.
Among them was Anglo, the naughtiest and most mischievous monkey. Anglo always came up with new ideas to cause trouble, and the other young monkeys loved to follow him. One day, during the wedding of the lion king’s son, Shero, all the animals were invited to the grand celebration. However, the young monkeys decided to sneak away to a nearby jungle, where they had spotted banana trees earlier.
Excited, they ran to the jungle and started eating the delicious bananas. Suddenly, a snake appeared and began slithering toward them! The monkeys panicked and ran as fast as they could, jumping from tree to tree. The snake chased them all the way back to their home forest, where they finally escaped.
Out of breath and scared, the monkeys realized they should have listened to their parents. They promised to never follow Anglo’s mischievous ideas again, and even Anglo learned an important lesson. From that day on, the young monkeys stayed close to home and always listened to their parents’ advice.
Later, they happily joined Shero’s wedding, grateful to be safe. The monkeys lived joyfully together, always remembering the importance of obeying their parents.
Moral: Listening to your parents keeps you safe and out of trouble.
