Great story. The best things in life don't require a lot of money. Doing it yourself is the best feeling.
That still required a lot of money lol
This however did require a shit tonne of money lol
That is a damn sick rig dude! Looks so good on the Treps with tube flares.
Flipped it on it's lid.... Priceless
Hahah love the little fella with the big smile hands on steering wheel
😲 OMG! That’s my mum and dads old troops. I learnt to drive in this. Awesome!
Show it to your old man haha and show his reaction haha
Bullshit
Lazy Tazey shut up asshole. I think he would recognise his dad’s Troopy with the photo taken in his paddock.
ooooh man those integrated front wings are NUTSSS
What an awesome beast!
I started this video critical, but now admit I love that rig lol
That is so cool 😎well done on your build mate 👍
Have you ever done the coffs coast? Man there's some serious tracks out there and the waterways are clear and there's water holes out there with turtles in them. Penny turtles. A lot of people speak of the coffs tracks like hardcore. I'm guessing you already been that way.
Sick rig man 👍
Awesome Truck! Definitely a keeper.
I get “born this way.” I’m a yank whose mum is Australian and now I understand my genetics as I’m off-roading while my family prefers reading books...
This is an absolute fucking weapon
That kid is extremely photogenic. Much like the cruiser!
Wow, wife is gorgeous! Good on you man! Oh, the trucks pretty good too, lol.
I would like a set of those front mud guards yep very nice
How does it get so hot?
you using a 80 series chassis
Love these
Looks sick
Keep it!!
Lmao nah I’ll happily take it of his hands🤣 jk that’s something you keep till the grave
anyone know what suspension he's running
Remodeling the old cruiser .There been a tone of hours put into this build from the looks .The comment billy mention here his also got a lot of interest .Would he running a few through the work shop builds it dose stand out as uniques .
I am surprised the builds where knocked back .
Might not be a personal thing to build but it is profit cash in pocket .
For any bissnes that pay bills and wages or that holiday .
I would of been on to that quick any one wanted something you build with cash to pay .
Further modern work can be done lights interior the general over look it a modern take on the old cruiser .
Big tyers hight lift was enough to give it a revive a new look .
You could go further with some fabrication you start to loose the line of the 70's .
Come on there Billie cash in bro .
Make a few calls .
Roll them and roll them into the work shop.
There a few minor alteration air con
Head lights tail can be modernised easy tweeks fixes .
It awesome to see more of these around great work on a tough 4X4
صلوا على النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم
That is sick bro
Absolutely awesome is the patrol ute any good for a rebuild
hardtophoggy Ua22%
Dont sell it
im a landy man. but fuck that is nice. love the coils in particular
where did the coils come from. a coil conversion kit?
THe axles look like they're from an 80 series, so the springs are probably too.
They are patrol diffs
Mate this troopy is a beast, Im looking at a 79 troopy, still got the 2f in it, would like to swap it out, just keen on an all around engine not a 400 horse! what would you recommend? LS something im guessing,
do a 12ht mate
Awesome tank you build ..
That Lsi engine is just a box of fun to play around with ... bbbrrraaawwww.
Can anyone advise of a ball part figure of build cost please ruff estimate ?
I hold a question of that v8 engine fuel economy ?
I would debate either to drop in a tuned skyline V6 big turbo or twin turbo .Say like a RB28det engine and just tune the life out of it .
Or a custom rebuild ,and reconfigured rotary engine to have four rotors if making noise was the priority !
That would cover alit of driving conditions .
And just mucking and haveing fun around drifting , hill climbs or just being a idiot !!
just so u know the RB28 is a straight six not a v6
@@dannymtb2552 We are not all qualified Engineers here my apologies for the technical blooper... Straight Six ? V6 ? I really don't care ,Just as long the car starts when the key goose in !>
Christopher Selleck yeh just tryna help u out mate
Nissan never made a RB28 anyway......so you both need correction.
They made a RB20, RB25, RB26 and RB30.
The did make a RD28 diesel 6 cylinder....but I don't think you were referring to that engine.
You question the fuel economy of the V8 but then say to use a 4 rotor?? You would need a box trailer with a couple of 44gal drums of fuel in it just to do a small trip.
Render in 24 FPS boys
I’d love to know how you mad it could all round. Did you do a chassis swap or something
Hunter Watson patrol chassis
@HunterWatson 80 series chassis

Throw a godammed A.C. in it will ya! It's worth the 3hp
WHAT.???its a 4x4,NOT,,a drag car.torque is your friend,NOT,hp.i have 200 hp,700nm,.climbs 70 degree hills,or down,,at 800 revs....oh yeh,can you convert it to diesel.????.
A Toyota Twin-Turbo Diesel V8 would be expensive but much better.
how ?? VDJ V8 are not a good engine, they have low ring tension and low compression, burn oil standard, and are not good on fuel econmy for the amount hp and torque they produce. (the 1HD-FTE is a far superior engine)
The "LS" has massive aftermarket support, makes good power, doesn't burn oil, swims amazingly well and will have a higher output then the VDJ V8 ever will
Brian Wynn May be you’re right, but if you are building a Toyota you should go with an engine which reflects the passion for the vehicle. Have you ever seen somebody building a GTO and putting a Datsun engine on it??? I hate to see people going easy and throwing these LS inside of virtually anything. Keep you Chevy engines inside the Chevy’s or instead rebuild a blazer if you want a chevy. You can even put a gas 4,7 or 5.7 Toyota v8 to respect the car but no, let’s go cheap with Chevy. What a shame for the rest of the car which by the way looks great.
the LS is just an all time great motor why bother putting that much time and effort in for a lesser result.
Holy fuck
