Locically they were built to escape the overworld. Silverfish to prevent you from following 3. The advancement "FREE the end" But steve is still trying to free the others from the dragon even though they let him alone. Steve is truly a good guy.
I mean, you have to kill something or raid a village as growing wheat will take to much time. You need wool for bad, and the main game goal is to kill the ender dragon, no matter how you play, it doesn't decline that that's the main game goal

Farming like the villagers. -When I find a village, I may steal 1 bed if I don't have one and I may take their plantations but I always replant crops behind. Also, I leave the Iron Golem alone so he can protect the villagers and I in case of monsters getting too close. -I've never managed to kill in Survival the Ender Dragon and I think I'll never do it because I don't want to. -In Creative, I always look for a village where I expand it, build more houses, make more Iron Golems... That way, I feel way less alone. So... I feel like I'm a good personn.
