    The trail is natural and mellow to introduce beginners to the sport. Reminds me of the 44 trails system.

    Thanks for the review! Glad to see this place was built. I remember all the headache the Sierra Club was causing over it. Hopefully the trails have improved since your review a couple years ago. Lots of potential.

      Thanks! I didn’t get a chance to ride it last summer due to work, but I heard it is getting better.

    Spot on review! I was up there late in the day. I came away with a similar impression.

      Thanks. Glad you enjoyed! I guess they’ve added a ton of new terrain but I wasn’t able to get out there and make a follow up video this summer. I haven’t had any time to ride or work on this channel unfortunately.

    Thanks for your review, well done and informative. I'd say that based on your video, "Gravy Train" and "Xerces" are not doubletrack, but just wide singletrack. It's a small point, but I think of doubletrack as an old forest road or 4x4 track, with two parallel tracks, not one wide track.

    • @MTNcorps
      @MTNcorps  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! When I stated double track I was referring to the tread being twice the width of a McLeod. Cheers

    This looks like a seriously fun ride on my mountain unicycle! :)

    Great video & commentary. But at the beginning of your vid you say you're on double track, that was single track. Curious if you were referring to a different trail? I'm asking because I'm taking a month off to tour 5 parks in Sept and considering adding this park to my loop. Not interested in any double track.

    • @MTNcorps
      @MTNcorps  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wider width track is what I was referring to. Not double track like 4x4 trails. More like double width McLeod.

    • @MTNcorps

      Wild Bits Homestead I have not. It’s still pretty early so I’ll wait in hopes of riding a bunch of new trail. Hoping they put in a jump track this season.

    On point review. I really wish they would have done double track on all the flow trails. Which all the trails I rode, I would consider to be flow. If you get off the trail into that soft dirt, bam 4 broken ribs. My buddy did that on his 2nd run down on "The Rock". Which I capturedon video. I should have a video posted soon as I get my laptop back.

    I walked away with similar impressions. I wasn't horribly disappointed or anything and I will return later this week but there really weren't any features and as a rider I don't feel like I improved. They do have a jump trail opening in another week a skills park next month.

      Technically the flow trail 're-align' is the only jump trail open ATM. I spoke w some of the operators when I was up there on 8/23 and next year is the goal for a legit jump trail. They do have plans to reshape the lips on 're-align' as they don't exactly work yet. They also opened a new Black trail on the 24th.

    I think these trails would be great for my family to experience a bike park with a lift. I like a proper rowdy trail, but more importantly I like to share mountain biking with muh fam.

      Precisely. Best place to bring the kiddos or introduce someone to the sport. It’s a beautiful and fun resort that will continue to improve.

    Hey man awesome video thanks for the upload! My wife and I will be headed there this weekend to check it out and ride the trails. Did you happen to see their operating hours by chance? Also, do you know if the “jump trail” is open yet?

    • @MTNcorps
      @MTNcorps  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Steven H I think their open 11am-6pm. No status update to the jump trail on their website or instagram yet but I’ll make update video’s as things progress.

    Hey dude, Ill be back in oregon for a day, got one day to ride. My wife will be with me and I was hoping for some good easier greens and blues for her to ride. Would timberline be worth it since its so new? Or just go to ski bowl?

    • @AndruComedy
      @AndruComedy 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure, skibowl has you waiting for kids and wedding people to get on the same lift. Timbo to Rhododendron is fun for $2

    • @MTNcorps

    Thanks! I do love T to Rhododendron but the first part (T2T) is boring. This park may not be rowdy enough. The comparisons between skibowl will be constant

    • @MTNcorps
      @MTNcorps  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Andrew Dhulst skibowl has the better region typical trails for sure. Timberline is just too new but they have great infrastructure and a solid start. Hoping this and other forums can show them what we want. After all, we pay for the tickets...

      I think if after two seasons ski bowl won’t be able to compete. Other than a lack of steepness Timberline has a better setup.

    • @MTNcorps
      @MTNcorps  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The steepness is there when they decide to utilize the fall line more.

      Next year they can not open until July because of the Wester Bee migration.
