Firstly Thanks for this wonderful vedio!! I have a doubt reg TFTs.Could you please tell me if TFTs are used by only dedicated eps bearers not default eps bearers? If so, why? How about default eps bearer SDF are filtered then?

Hello SAKILANI, in case you need to connect to IMS and the internet, you will have a default bearer to connect you to the internet, and another default bearer to connect you to IMS network. the default bearer of the IMS will be used to exchange the signaling of the calls between the UE and the IMS network. once the signaling are exchanged, a dedicated bearer linked to the default bearer of the IMS will be created . This dedicated bearer will be used to pass the media streams of the call.

@@sakilanimohamed1990 yes you can. The configuration can be applied on the GGSN to create a dedicated bearer for Facebook, or it can be applied on the PCRF.

Hi All, is that possible to use default bearer QCI:9 and dedicated bearer QCI:4 in the same time and steer all the UDP traffic to QCI:4 bearer while TCP traffic would goes towards QCI:9? How the UE should know about this specific routing rule?

Hello and thanks for your comnent . Traffic can be steered to different bearers based on different applications or services not the traffic type. However this may exist is specific vendors so you have to check with the vendor regarding this.

Hello and thanks for your comnent .. the ARP is used by the network in case of congestion to determine it should create bearers for which requests and it should ignore which requests. The UE is not infirmed by the ARP
