I agree that asymmetry often can set people up for injury and that we need balance, especially functional balance. However aren't we inherently asymmetrical? How do you integrate that basic truth?
I guess we're inherently asymmetrical yet seeking symmetry as an expression, that shapes us in both duality and unity like yin/yang or how water bonds from "seperate" molecules H20 (asymmetrical). So its not that asymmetry is bad or necessarily causes injury, but it can when situations require strength in both sides?
