HWRD #9: Casio PB 2000C Display Catastrophe

Welp, the problem was bigger than I thought. As we see the blob is actually not where we thought it was! There is also damage to heat seal in several places that compels me to completely strip the assembly.
Will this ever be salvageable? It is certainly one of the worst case scenarios one encounters in repair… However this is how it is when you film the ongoing work rather than complete series. In this channel you get to see all mistakes and failures as they happen in real life (and I have them plenty!)
