7:23 oi, Canada here, specifically BC where the uptake of EVs is relatively high. This used to be the case, but as of last year most malls have transitioned to paid charging, same with cities. It sucks, but free is always temporary. I expect most places to follow suit. Still convenient, but the problem is it's always dependant on your rate of charge, since the cost is usually based on the time you're at the charger, not the amount of electricity you're using.
Good review of the car. Had to rule this one out sadly for candidates for next car in late 2023. For the money you pay at 50 grand, the lack of tech you get and miniature space for 3rd and 4 passenger is bit of a joke.
Not sure how the mini going to develop seeing BMW dropped production of the BMW i3 and everything apart from body pannels is a direct take/same as the BMW i3
I buy 2023, and the dealership is unable to determine what’s wrong with it, and refuses to fix it under the manufacture warranty. The car is less than three months old and they want over 20,000 to fix it. I will never buy another mini Cooper. This is been a nightmare from hell
Your mum is a bigger auto geek than I am. Thanks for the review. Loved it!!
Nice review! Big fan of the Mini 🇬🇧 Unfortunately no android auto though! 😭
People like Gavin's mum give me hope. Go EV mum!

You’re lucky there’s no free charging in the UK anymore apart from a few work places

The Mini is FWD the i3 RWD, the Mini is a much nicer car to drive.

If you're a 2 car family there's absolutely nothing not to like.
