Just bought them. Good confort and warm in the lower zone, very light, but in the upper zone my legs are killed. They have a hard upper material ore something wich press my legs and it hurts. I dont know how do they have a hingh confort level. ***I have an update after 3 weeks, if anyone is interested. The discomfort at the upper part is solved with longer socks. I also had the opportunity to test the traction of the boots: *On fresh snow they are very good. *On soft/melted snow, wet ice or dry ice they slide quite hard. *On wet they have a good traction. Probably a factor why they're doing so poorly on ice is the hard rubber of the sole material. It would have been okay if they used the Vibram sole.
Nice review. Just bought it. Expansive, i usually spend half or 2/3 of these omey on a pair of shoes. Hope it does not slip on snor and ice. A verified opinion on this matter, please?
@@dnydaniel2112 it finally snow here.. its good on snow, very bad on any form of ice. dissapointing for the price, i wear it with a anti-slip insole (some kind of paracord cage for the boots).

Bought mine last week. Spent 6 hours in -5 Celsius with just little movement today and it worked great! The traction is also very impressive.
How long do you wear it?

Yes, they does slip on ice and melted/wet/icy snow. That is their downside..
I am curious about your opinion.
@@dnydaniel2112 thank you

Do these come in wide? And are Salomon boots comfortable for wide footed people?
Salomons typically have a narrower, more snug fit, but a lot of their models have W option. I would check their official site for availability.
do You know maybe what crampons is good for this boots?:))
