There are many great restaurants!! The Halls for many, many years have had lots of different versions of restaurants. There are several Casa restaurants for good Italian food. But some of those you mentioned are just don't have that old, authentic vibe. Henry's on Main Street has served very good "American cuisine for over 100 years, and has a really cool, hand-carved bar (rail) with a huge antique mirror. Lots of hidden gems including Club Soda and the Oyster Bar. But we have a great fine-arts scene here plus more to do. I hope you come again.

Thank you for the suggestions! I worked with Visit Ft. Wayne for my trip and they arranged my food options, so when I go back on my own, I'll try some of these out. Always good to hear what the locals like and recommend :)

I've lived here all my life and hadn't really been up to Fort Wayne. They have quite a few things to do - a great day or weekend trip.

Downtown Fort Wayne is Government funded pricey and overrated. You needed a Ft. Wayne resident to show you around. I see you past Cindy's diner (great fun spot to eat). Coney Island on Main, Junk Ditch Brewing Company, Paula's On Main and so many more. It's even fun to stop in at Sweet Water sounds and grab a chef made lunch. You should make plans to come up during Taste of the Arts festival. Just some thoughts. Absolutely love your work and this video!

I worked at a Substation just outside of Muncie last year, that’s where Bob Ross is from. I liked Muncie & Indiana in general.

I kept seeing billboards for the Bob Ross Experience - I bet it’s a fun exhibition.

I have not been in this area a lot, but it sounds like there are some nice attractions!

I'm originally from the Fort Wayne area, and now live in Florida. Indiana is the chip and seal roads state. And not bicycle-friendly (no paved shoulders on their roads). Indiana cars have beat-up front ends and chipped windshields due to all of the chip and seal roads.

Pspec, I don't know when you've been to Indiana last. Not really tripping seal now - maybe back in the 1980s early 90s. They've done MAJOR overhauls on all the roads. Sure there's still some exploding roads, on Long stretches which have the heat build-up underneath. But almost all of them are going to blacktop now asphalt companies are really getting 'er done! The big tunneling project and all the new infrastructure plans have changed the look and user-friendliness of Fort Wayne! Big Improvement!! You should try it again. Many many people are coming back❗ it's a very popular place downtown ....AND a very well-loved city. 😃 Ahh good ole Fort Wayne!!!

As a Fort Wayne native, I assure you that there is plenty of things that you didn't do on this visit to provide another weekend of new activities
