I already had this feeling Nexter is trying to find ways to make you spend more moves. If they equally make the moves available perfect. But that seems not the case. In the past island maps i made the shortest ways to the towers (until the started with purple gift of dominion). On the high end it took 11 moves per tower. While sometimes you could get 3 towers for 23 moves! This map seems very expensive, and is made for sub buyers, effectively saying: you want the pattern? go buy 4 week sub! You need 53 moves to just get wood and pattern? 35 moves to 20k? Crazy. And I only pick up patterns for 2 moves for 3 patterns. I dont have enough emeralds to even think about switching out high end patterns...
Nexters: "how can we screw them over further?" I know a lot of people are getting sick of getting the royal screw-gy. Don't think this game has a whole lot of life left if they continue down the same path...
So, for Free2Play players like myself, this is essentially a waste of time.....The more they try to monetise this game, the less I want to play it......
Edit: I was under the impression we would get nothing but the wood - if you use the wood to build the bridge, it brings you 500 emeralds per used wood. So I correct myself and now this game twist is fine for me 🙂 My original comment: As fun as it seemed at first with the "new twist" and challenge to get the wood/wooden bridges build - essentially they disguise in a playfull way that they rip us of 6 moves where we only get wood for, nothing else on resources we can use directly after gathering them. Not amused at all 😞...
they don't even mask anything, they were a little shy, thinking that it would be too blatant and brazen to draw a lot of empty cells of moves, and you will need 9 moves just to get to the island without getting anything.
and there is nothing to do on this island, there are only a couple of main awards that are not worth the huge number of required moves, it's all open and transparent, and the wood that you counted 2 + 4 - there is nothing to do on the big island, and about the little far one - this is from the category of the most amazing jokes))

You are incorrect. Wood is picked up for 1 move, just like any other exploration.
you need to go to the wood, first wood collection cost 3 explorer moves to go there and 2 explorer moves to collect both of them
