i guess my math not taught well I was very high in Algebra but I can't even remember my Calculus 😅 I seem to have blocked that nightmare. I think it's bec of my trig fundaments... which is essentially nil. I somehow got a pass grade there by playing the motions by not really understanding it.
I relieved a little bit when the teacher says Calculus is mostly algebra. I totally agree about him, my algebra skill is pretty solid but when it comes to Calculus with trig functions it brings doubt to me. I'm not sure what topic on trigonometry should I focus on so that I can easily manipulate those trig functions in calculus. All I know is Trigonometry functions of Right triangle
@@ColfaxMath you're right Sir I just learned Trigonometric Identities today. It make sense to me now those trigonometric functions on Calculus. I always remind my mind that trigonometric functions is just like variable on algebra. Just like you said on the video the variable on trigonometry is different. Thank you
My friend says that Calc 1 is much easier than Precalc/Trig. My AP Physics 1 teacher also says this, as he said that Precalc throws all these random topics at you, while everything in calc just builds upon everything u learned earlier. Is Calc 1 easier than Precalc in your opinion?
Yes it’s was so much easier for me to understand honestly I thought I was really bad at math and for some reason calculus was my strongest math subject
I'm useing Khan. Academy iv just reached algebra 1 functions section, and circle's I'm geometry, and I ehant to prepare. Myself for calculus when I'm ready I will know what to do, but the geometry and sections only does angles and degrees is geometry OK to learn for Calculus?

I have a playlist on trig, I would go back through that. Biggest part is trig identities

@@ColfaxMath Quick update. Class is over and got a B. It took me almost all the way to the end of semester to be able to digest all these information.
I finished with pre calc with a B last semester. Starting Calculus 1 tomorrow.
