Flare was working with Ripple in the beginning. Ripple trusted Flare enough to allow them to do the snapshot of the XRP holders for a future airdrop. Things have been a little slow down a bumpy road. The price is down right now. Everything is down right now. If you know what you hold and know how to invest, you buy when everyone else is worried. You don't buy when the price is going up. I still believe in Flare and think that it's going to do well. Airdrops and delegating are great passive income. Flare is finding their way and cutting the fat off the project to make sure that the future will be great.
I'm still holding my flr and sgb, it was a drop, if it does nothing I lose nothing, if they succeed it could benefit me greatly, best of luck to them. Think they switch and divide a bit to much
Haven't commented in a while, but still watching every video you make. Great analysis of this change with the network. I totally agree with you. Hugo also mentioned that the cost and time layercake would have took to build was enormous. This move is smart, and it will work well with Flare-network Fassets in the future. Keep rocking it brother.
The whole market is down. Bitcoin dominance is making everything bleed. With layer cake exiting I believe this is great timing for Hugo and the flare team to focus more on Ai/Data on fulfilling its goals.
ckbtc is similar and I wouldn’t say “beat” it. There won’t be just one network to do something similar. Flare has over collaterallization with multiple tokens, native token/stable coins and can be bridged to pretty much anywhere. Not to mention all the token defi passive income for f assets.
I have been trying to do the beta testing for flare assets to no avail. I am super disappointed in the flare drops. It was a total rug pull. Don’t get me wrong I still have lots of flr and sgb, but trust factor has waivered for a long time. If the price goes up back to .03 cents I’ll be exiting
Hi Joe, a rug pull is defined as a scam. There are many variations of that scam. I don't believe Flare is rug pulling anyone. I do believe that trying to build a blockchain that does everything can have negative consequences such as divided focus, slower release cycles, and more bugs. And while those consequences can impact trust, it is much different than a rug pull. Thanks for the post!
I was disappointed in the fAsset testing as well but this isn't on flare team. It's people hoarding FtestXRP thinking it will get them more future airdrops. Hugo took action by disqualifying anyone holding more than 100 FtestXRP and whoever tests also needs to be participating in the ecosystem in a meaningful way (delegating/staking meaningful amounts). Also they are going to put a full comprehensive guide on how to earn airdrops via participating in testing here soon
Joe, WTF are you taking about? Are you new to this space😂 you seem quite clueless regarding what a rug pull is. Try using google next time. You’re still talking about not getting your air drop? That was years ago and you’re still complaining about something that was/ is totally under your control. It’s like you’re blaming a business because you don’t understand how to get free money or where to hold it so you can get the airdrops.
I think they have a shot. I'd love it if they became the Oracle of choice! But I understand your position. I still earn tokens through delegation and airdrops. But I stopped buying with USD as well. Thanks for the comment!
Such short sighted nonsense from someone that doesn’t understand what they are talking about. You remind me of people that complain because they have to pay taxes on air drops (free money)🤡

Yessir. Let's go Flare!

Much appreciated. Thanks Lawrence. Glad to know you're still watching all this time!
Go fASSETS GOOOOO🎉🎉
Let's go Freddy!

I agree. Looking forward to watching it unfold!
Excellent video, I told everybody cake was bad for them LOL
Nice catch. I see why they went for it, but too many features and moving parts can set you back.
Do you think ripple would use some of their XRP that they have locked up in escrow on Flares Fassets
👏
Thanks for stopping in Ben. See you on X!
When F-assets and S-assets, ser? Soon-er.
Looking forward to this sooner!
@@DeFiDivvy me too!
ckBTC beats them all, why is it not mentioned
I didn't know about it. I'll take a look. Thanks for posting. EDIT: Took a quick look. Worth a deep dive for sure: ICP!
ckBTC 💯🔥💣

@@austin7125dude just hold your flr or sgb in a wallet like bifrost to get all the airdrops.

Flare has been a shambles from the outset. I give them no hope of achieving anything
I guess you sold 😂
They achieved the FTSO which is a decentralized incentive-based price feed. Even if that's all they achieve that is truly worth something
You are lost or ignorant if you truly believe this
Bye 👋🏽
