I have a Bernese mountain dog and we got him the same kind of harness. It works so much better because his breed is meant to pull. I think a regular harness just encourages pulling. Probably similar to a golden.

Not sure if this would still be helpful with Camper or maybe even Honey, but my golden uses a dog hiking pack for when he goes on walks! You can use it with weights in the pockets if you want, but we usually just do water bottles and it works well for him! He walks so much better with it on and adds extra work too.

Kristin if you don't want to get eyelash extension bc you want to give your eyelashes a break but you still want them to be curly and flirty you should try getting them permed. I haven't tried it but I think it would make your lashes look really nice. I think it also lasts about as long as eyelash extensions. Nice video too. Love ya Kristin!

Marcus and Kristin - He's not being a "bad dog"! He is like a baby - he doesn't understand right from wrong or what you expect from him without you teaching him through training! If you haven't raised him with any healthy boundaries and haven't taught him the behaviours that you expect from him, then not only is he not going to just know, he will feel anxious as he doesn't understand his job in the pack! Chewing on things and destroying them is common for dogs who don't have enough mental stimulation or constructive direction - he gets bored and doesn't know what else to do but chew on stuff! You have to give him alternative ways of using his physical and mental energy! That's why you have to walk him every day, teach him to heal, fetch, etc, as well as to respect boundaries - for example not being allowed to walk into some rooms or to touch/bite some stuff - this will help him know the behaviours that are desired and feel calm and content. Honestly, this are just the basics of healthy dog raising, which people should educate themselves on before getting a dog! And with high-energy working dogs such as Golden Retrievers, you often need to put in extra work to stimulate them adequately - like playing fetch, fly-ball, agility training or getting them to work for their food. There are also special toys that you can fill up with frozen healthy snack filling and leave it with your doggie when you leave them alone and it can occupy them for quite a while. You said in one of your videos that you know that this is a "smart" breed - so why are you not allowing Camper to use his abilities in order for him to be able to enjoy his life to the fullest? :( Rather than asking if he's "ready to be a better dog", perhaps you should ask yourselves if you're ready to be better owners or dog parents?
