I have a few of the LED Ryobi lights and love them. The cheap one that comes in the kits are trash and need updated or phased out for the LED lights for sure. I can't wait to get my hands on that 3000 lumen lights. Would be awesome for night fishing for sure.
I have the Ridgid Tri-fold light & love it! Very similar design to the new Ryobi version! Of course I'll be buying the Ryobi version! Because I collect tools whether I need them or not. lol Great video as always David!
I can't wait until that 3000 lumen one comes to my home depot. I'm going to start saving my overtime now. I've already got a bunch of ryobi lights and they've proven to be indispensable.
Just bought the big one that folds. Would you use it on a tripod? The price is much better than the Dewalt and Milwaukee tripod lights, but seems like this Ryobi on a $30 husky tripod is a much better deal
debating between this one and the ego light. I already have ego batteries, however the ego much heavier I think and I dont know if I will be needing that much light. I kindda like the ryobi cause its lighter. My friend has the ego and its a pretty cool light and eventhough its larger is compact too
@@ManCaverTools I don’t think you are getting what I’m thinking. If you have the battery on the table and fold the light down to the table it looks like you can fold the side lights up to almost a triangle. If so you can almost get 360 coverage.
@@jscalpati Yup, if you use the battery as the base and then you basically can turn it into a 360 light. Or just fold the panels all the way back and do 2 facing back and big one front.
Trying to find a vs video or someone’s opinion on the ryobi tripod light vs the milwaukee rocket m18 light. I can’t decide which one to get. I have tools and batteries with both brands. Need help!!!
when it comes to the Ryobi tripod light, I'm not a fan of it because the base is so big when you fold it up. id go with the Milwaukee m12 stand light instead
they sucks they wont allow you to have them plugged in and the battery at the same time also they wont charge the battery either they could have charger and light all in one
the old ryobi light with the adjustable color is still one of their best ones in terms of color. Milwaukee nailed their color spectrum on their LEDs. I absolutely can't stand the blue cold light, most jobsite LED lights give off. gives me a headache at work. 4000 kelvin is optimal.. What's the color temp on those new ryobi lights?
just based on the video, it is not the same warm color that Milwaukee gives out. This is still on the warm spectrum as you notice the slight yellow it gives out rather than the blue that you get from cool temperature. .
I literally just saw these on another page. Good stuff

Cool update Dave I would just have to get use to that bright Ryobi green 🤔
That foldable light is impressive on the night tests @Man Caver Tools
I like the Ryobi Color range light been using it for about 7 months been impressed with it @Man Caver Tools
Price/performance they are great. This latest 3 panel one though is the best they've made. Cheaper than the RIDGID version and more powerful.

I thank you very much Greg :) I love the double panel light

Cool lights From ryobi @Man Caver Tools
The ryobi foldable light reminds me of the ridgid foldable light @Man Caver Tools
Nice editing on this video came out great @Man Caver Tools
I have the Ryobi spot light. I love that thing
They look pretty good

id go with the battery platform that you more likely would use
@Man Caver Tools well I also have adaptor to use dewalt batteries with ryobi:)
The big one is crazy
Thanks for the Video!!! Great Info!!! Can I find the Ryobi 631B be found at Home Depot, Lowe’s, or where Online? Thanks Ken D.
When you fold the bigger light down are you able to fold the side lights back more to make it 360 light?
150 degree lights.

The spec portion reminds me of a QVC bit
What is the model number of the lantern style light? Thank you
Show brother!!!
I don't think you can switch between light pannels on the ryobi like you can on some Milwaukee lights like the packout light @Man Caver Tools

We are so behind in the UK with ryobi offerings
Probably Ryobi is doing far better at the UK market than they are here which is why they're focusing there more.
Do you know what the price is gonna for the folding light, and when it's gonna be available. Thank you
I think it's 60 and 90

Good stuff. Ryobi lights are great. What brand is the black mat on your workbench?
only if it was controlled individual
I like your content. I'm interested in the P790. Have you tried it out?

are they rain proof ?
I did not test that actually
@@ManCaverTools just use high pressure washer...
Ryobi really need to incorporate USB charger into their lights, better newer one not the 5V/1A in old P781.

I thank you Cody
Just bought my 360 light. TERRIFIC
Don't bother. If you want lights get Makita DML809.
You can buy 3 of the Ryobi folding ones for the price of that and you'd end up with much greater flexibility and stay on the same battery platform.
@@DavZell That may be true but its Ryobi at the end of the day. The Makita can deliver 10K lumens and its a beast.
im not a fan of Makita lights
@@jespersorensen8022 And 3 Ryobis gives you 9000, pointed more flexibly. Ryobi lights have excellent durability.
