Thanks, very informative.. here in India most doctors don’t recommend contacts as I have dry eyes. But I love the convenience so I wear for 5 to 6 hours typically.. acuvue vita.. I use refresh tears to generally lubricate my eyes, unfortunately we don’t have preservative free options here..
@@Skinbodycarestyle I don’t know, probably they’re expensive and don’t sell well. You can check on the Indian websites even refresh tears does not provide options there’s only one product!
I have been wearing contacts for 15 years. In the last 5 years, I have been so bad with wearing my contacts longer through the day (16+ hours per day). I would also continue using the same pair for months longer than I should have. I was hoping to get LASIK, but was told my cornea is too thin (410 if that makes sense). What are some things that I can do to heal my corneas? It was suggested that I do not wear my contacts, wear my glasses, and use eye drops every 1-2 hours /day. Thank you!
Thanks for this info...I too live in India..Please can you tell your routine of cleaning the lenses? I got a brand new pair and they hurt so much, I can't wear for over a few seconds..When do you use eye drops?
Hello. Here is something to consider before getting lasik done. I had gotten Lasik when I was 21 years old. I am now 44 and my eyesight is terrible. The lasik wore off after 10 years and I was back to wearing glasses. Back when I had lasik done, one thing that was never verbally mentioned to me was that Lasik doesn't last forever. My current optometrist compared it to getting cosmetic surgery done...the procedure results is not guaranteed to last forever without getting it redone. My eyesight now is as if I had never gotten lasik in the first place. I also experience terrible eye dryness that I didn't have before getting lasik.
I've been wearing soft lenses for about 4 years now. Was previously wearing RGP lenses. Slightly off topic, but the RGP lenses were painful if something got in-between them and your eye!
idk why whenever i insert my lens there seems to be something in my eye which make it uncomfortable, even cleaning my lens many times give me that still! any help or any one knows why?
After removing my contact, one side of my eye got redness in it no pain or irritation what can i get to have normal one is it ok to keave or dhould i consult opthamelist
And what's even weirder is that my eyes aren't that red only a little bit it the corners.. And I don't usually have seasonal allergy (now it's spring) The lenses brand are Iso approved and none seems to had my problem I just want to wear them again i really really love them..
Hello, I was get used to sleep with my beauty contact lenses, I put them off in the afternoon. BUT after 3 days at night my eye started to hurt so badly that it made me wake up at 2 am and put them off so in the morning my eye become red as well 1 week later but It's still a little bit red what should I Do? Please answer:)
I am using lenses from the last week but still it hurts when I move eyes rapidly and sometimes I am not able to see teacher coz whenever I try to see up, my eyes fill with water. I am suffering a lot Can you please guide me what should i do. And one more thing, every time i feel their separate presence in my eyes which makes me so irritated and uncomfortable.
I have perfect eyesight🤩& no glasses😳👁👁! I love my naked eyes😍, so I get why some people would want contacts. But I think contacts are pure vanity! How can anyone put those little pieces of plastic right onto their eyeballs?? Scary, in MY naked eyes!😲
I prefer wearing glasses but sometimes I get blisters on my nose bridge from the constant friction and weight of the glasses' nose pad. It hurts when it gets in contact with anything so I think contact lenses are great to take a break from glasses from time to time. Sometimes when I have a headache, I prefer to be relieved off of my glasses
@@KefkieTeapot Oh, I see👁️👁️! My wife got her very first glasses in June, and she looks super cute with them! She says she'd never want contacts. Just saying!
It’s cause your applying it wrong to stop sticking in eye feeling when wearing contact lens place contact lens on finger place lens solution on top and some drops in eye than apply ull never have those symptoms again

Can I just say your pre contact lenses picture is adorable! 🤣👍🏻❤️
Thank you for the high quality and informative video. Can you comment if gas permeable (hard) lenses are a good option for corneal neovascularization?

how does the cornea get oxygen when you are sleeping?
there are blood vessels behind your eye that send oxygen through it
Thank you!

You could be Annie Murphys twin
Would be much more helpful with photos when explaining
Who else is here after sleeping in your contacts
